A basic DAM for image management
What do you like best? Libris has basic DAM functionality that is easy and intuitive to use. We utilize multiple photographers and the upload process has been easy for them to understand. What do you dislike? The split between the administrative interface and the end-user portal can be confusing for some of our key users, who fall into both categories. Also, paying per seat for administrative access is frustrating. Recommendations to others considering the product Spend some time ...

Pretty good, would recommend
What do you like best? It's great to have a central repository for our photos available anytime, anywhere. What do you dislike? The biggest complaint we've gotten is finding the download button. It has changed position, will be in different spots depending on how you access the photo, or is hard to see. Recommendations to others considering the product Simple, easy to use product for storing and accessing your photo library. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Great service highly recommend
What do you like best? I love how easy the program is to navigate and how easy it makes it to organize files. It makes our images much more organized and when it comes time to provide images for marketing the graphic designers are then able to choose the best ones. What do you dislike? I wish there were a few more features available for tags such as being able to move tags higher up in a batch Recommendations to others considering the product I would definitely recommend this programs to ...

An Excellent Choice for Companies and Individuals with Huge Photo and Video Storage Needs
What do you like best? I like the ease with which I can transfer and store photos and videos. There was very little I needed to do in the way of training, both for myself and others who have helped me transfer files and store them. The dashboard is intuitive and efficient. What do you dislike? The only thing I dislike about Libris is the limit that is placed on users. I work at an independent school and often have students helping me tag photos. I've made one user name that all of them ...

Would Highly Recommend
What do you like best? Easy organization of assets and even easier distribution to users. DePauw had no photo management system in place before using Libris - everyone loves it - easy to learn - easy to use. What do you dislike? I'm hard pressed to have any real criticism. If had to look somewhere I would look at the captioning functions. That said, I usual complete all the metadata in Photo Mechanic before uploading so it's not totally fair for me to point my finger there because I ...

Great Functionality at a Great Price
What do you like best? I like that Libris allows the user to show a publicly viewable librarywith watermarked imagery to those who may be browsing the library and may not be sure if they are ready to download assets. This keeps the commitment level at a minimum while still allowing access. What do you dislike? I don't really have much that I dislike about Libris. If I had to pick one thing, it would be the limited support for videos and video thumbnails. If I want to add a video to my ...

Great for cataloging photos
What do you like best? Plenty of searchable tags and other options. Helps maintain a library for multiple users with different roles and responsibilities. We have a simple folder structure for the different aspects of our business that helps a user quickly navigate to what they need or they can use metadata tags we've set up to search for what they need. What do you dislike? I wish there was better integration into other programs such as the adobe and microsoft suites. Also finding it ...

Great service for any nonprofit looking for a way to organize & quickly locate their digital assets.
What do you like best? The user interface is not cluttered and intuitive for first-time users. I also enjoy the speed at which I am able to navigate and interact with the web portal, there is no lag or delay jumping from one section of the system to another. But I think what I've liked the most and what informed a big part of my organization's decision to sign up the service is the customer service we've received even before we were customers. Being able to know people at their office on a ...

Loving Libris!
What do you like best? We use Libris to catalog the myriad photos we take work, and it's been LEAGUES better than the photo server we were using for so long. The ability to tag and organize photos into albums and make everything searchable by name (not to mention giving others access so they can "get it themselves" has been transformative for our department. What do you dislike? Wish there were a bit more options for tagging and searching, and each photo could benefit from a default ...

Easy to use, a great organizational tool
What do you like best? I like that I'm able to organize thousands of photos. The tag feature allows others to search for the photos they need out of these thousands. I feel safe knowing the photos are secure, easily accessible and shareable. I like the lightbox feature as well. What do you dislike? I don't like that the permissions settings can get messy and difficult to organize because of the way they can inherit permissions. I've also been experiencing a bug which won't let me download ...
