Brilliant tool for higher education
What do you like best? Frees up photographer time for photography versus file management and distribution. What do you dislike? Nothing that I can think of. We've had few issues and some of our users require A LOT of hand-holding. Support has been great. Recommendations to others considering the product We demo-d a number of options and this was hands down the best one. Highly recommend. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? No more ...

Libris has a very intuitive interface and is great for managing large amounts of images
What do you like best? I like the organizational aspect of Libris, and how you are able to create lightboxes and share them with others. I also like that it can be integrated with design programs. What do you dislike? Perhaps I just haven't figured it out, but it would be great to be able to select multiple photos (thumbnails and download, instead of downloading one by one. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It allows for easy ...

What I like and don't like about Libris
What do you like best? It's very easy to use and allows me to regulate which departments are able to see photos. No more departments using photos they shouldn't. It also helps keep my images and archive very organized. What do you dislike? Not much really. One minor thing that bugs me a lot is when I've created a group that can view a specific gallery, I'm not able to email one person in that group individually. I have to email the entire group. Or, go in and add that one person to the ...

Easy-to-Use Product
What do you like best? The search function is great and the way it stores the files ensures that it doesn't take a long time to load the thumb nails. It's really easy to type in searches and pull up what you're looking for with the various filters. What do you dislike? A lot of the search functionality and categorization of images is incumbent on internal labeling and organization so if you aren't good at organizing things, this program isn't really set-up to help you in that respect. ...

Chaos to organization...
What do you like best? Libris's main advantage for us is giving us one central place to safely archive all of our important assets, organize in folders of our choosing, identified via searchable keywords. This ability works equally well whether or not for internal use or to distribute to our customers. What do you dislike? Not a knock on Libris, but some of our users have been very slow to adopt to using Libris as they are too used to being spoon feed images on demand. Using Libris when ...

Carrying us into the future...
What do you like best? We battled with remote access of advantages (for the most part through moderate VPN associations and association (numerous organized drives and littered resources previously marking on with Libris. In the 10 months we've been on the stage, we've classified almost 180,000 computerized resources and it's enormously enhanced our group's workflow. The displays are an incredible method to compose our individual divisons of the school and found the majority of their ...

Libris for image archive
What do you like best? I think that Libris is a very useful tool for image archival. The public portal function gives me flexibility to design the interface and shows the public what contents we want. The private Library allows our office to categorize the images we have into very detailed groups. Each group can have its own view/download permission. Specifically, I like that I can add multiple persons to a permission group. It helps me collaborate with different departments in my ...

Very organized system and easy to navigate
What do you like best? The tagging system was the most beneficial to me. It was easy to tag and duplicate items from one folder to the next. What do you dislike? The fact that no metadata can be added to videos What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have too many pieces of content created throughout the year to keep in an organized way, and this helps the team access everything in the office and remotely.

Great for Collaboration
What do you like best? The best part of Libris is being able to organize, store, and share photos between our entire team and easily share with freelancers and outside groups that need access to select photos. What do you dislike? Not being able to zoom in on photos and not being able to compare photos side to side. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Freeing up space on our storage drives and not bogging down emails with large ...
