Streamlined Organization

What do you like best? The ability to tag images and search for them has made it much easier to find what I need from our library, whether I am sharing the images with clients or using them for advertisements I am designing. I appreciate that I can toggle permissions of galleries and collections accordingly, which helps when we are getting ready to release new photos. Finally, the lightbox is a useful feature when I need to group images for my own reference or share them with others. What ...

Good functionality and usability

What do you like best? Libris is a good way for our team to manage our photo and video assets What do you dislike? The interface is slightly dated - would like to see an upgrade What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? A big benefit for my team is being able to set different permission levels for different team members

Quality

What do you like best? There's much to like, but my favorite is the integrated functionality with Adobe Lightroom via a plug-in. As the manager of a 54,000+ image and video library, being able to import directly from our editing software without transferring files to our desktop is a big win. What do you dislike? The ability to share files quickly isn't the most natively intuitive process for new users. Recommendations to others considering the product I think the customer service reps ...

Good Place

What do you like best? I like how it's easy to make galleries of photos, and share them. What do you dislike? That you can't favorite a photo or have any say in which photo is able to be liked. I would like there to be a folder in which you can keep favorites so you can keep coming back to them. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I feel like it's easy to share the photos with colleagues and upload them to social media platforms for ...

Pretty good

What do you like best? Searchability is much improved over what we were using What do you dislike? I'm not sure if it is the way we set it up or the program, but categories for forms vs images do get a bit muddled Recommendations to others considering the product If you need a simple product that easy to search and houses a large amount of files i reccomend What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We house all our images and videos on ...

I use Libris with my company and it's been working really well for us so far!

What do you like best? I like how use friendly it is. Uploading photos and videos are fast. What do you dislike? The one negative I've noticed is it take awhile for videos to be available to view especially if it's a big file. Recommendations to others considering the product It's a great solution for photo and video uploading and sharing. It's very user friendly. I really enjoy the use of tags and permissions. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

New User to Libris!

What do you like best? I like that we can access from anywhere and that when we imported all of our images Libris maintained all the meta data. What do you dislike? I do feel that the landing page when you log in is unnecessary. I would want to get straight to the library. Recommendations to others considering the product None What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We were operating solely off of Adobe Bridge. Since we are a ...

Great system

What do you like best? I've worked with several DAM photo library systems and desktop software. Libris works great and is easy to upload files. everything is fairly intuitive and easy to use simplicity. Sharing files is awesome. loads of space for thousands of hi-res images. What do you dislike? With any system GIGO. if you have keywords that are frequently used it may slow down your search, so you may need to find other ways of locating the file(s you need. Recommendations to others ...

Shallow end of the experience, somewhat satisfied

What do you like best? I like the ability to send or give permission for certain sizes of photo. I like that it's largely reliable and doesn't have errors. What do you dislike? I don't like that I can't choose to ignore words in a description when searching. I wish albums had an automatic thumbnail, as it is I'm accustomed to waiting to let one load and they never do. I wish scrolling through images was a bit more responsive, but it seems to have improved. I wish there was a way to zoom ...
