Very helpful tool

What do you like best? The galleries are very easy to organize. I love that our photographers can contribute with out having to exchange jump drives or download links. I love being able to see many photos at a glance instead of having to go photo by photo. What do you dislike? I wish their was integration with WordPress, so that we could create galleries and see the archive within WordPress. Also, the permission settings being different by album creates duplicate galleries is frustrating. ...

Functional Data Asset Management System

What do you like best? I love that there's functionality to pick and choose who has access to what files and that for the most part Libris is user friendly. What do you dislike? I don't like that when you search on the back-end or the front-end that anything you've put in the trash is still searchable. I also don't like how specific the search function is. It would be nice to search for say "Periodic Table" and get results that are close to that. As it is right now, if I misspell ...

Good Product with Useful Features

What do you like best? Lightbox, keyword and multi-size image features are good. What do you dislike? Image search is a little cumbersome and not as versatile as I would like. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Photoshelter provides a good archival database of images for our promotional materials. Being able to browse and search quickly through thousands of images is a huge bonus.

Pretty good digital asset management system

What do you like best? Libris works in a logical way, making it easy to customize the way you organize your assets. Customer support is excellent and always friendly. What do you dislike? The creation and maintenance of metadata could be more streamlined. And other platforms offer OCR search functionality. That would be VERY USEFUL. Lightbox is also awkward; communal commenting and rating should be more intuitive and should include batch permissions adjustment, batch commenting, and ...

Big Improvement on What We WERE Using

What do you like best? We can have all our photography assets available in one place with the ability to easily manage who has access to what. The designers, writers and multimedia specialists on the communications team can review everything we have, while making only certain galleries and collections available to collaborators and constituents who don't need or want access to every file we've uploaded to the system. What do you dislike? There was a bit of a learning curve in figuring out ...
