Great Solution for Organizing On-Site Media
What do you like best? The product allows anyone from anywhere to access the media for all of the brand we promote. We operate music festivals and the product streamlines the process of our photographers uploading their photos and use serving those images immediately to press as well as archiving them for future use. What do you dislike? We've really had no major issues with Libris and have used the product for 3 years now. Recommendations to others considering the product: This is a ...

Moving to Libris
What do you like best? We love the ability to upload from multiple different points to Libris. From drag and drop to sftp to the mobile upload the ease of the product is great What do you dislike? I wish there was processing time bar on the videos when they are uploaded until they are ready to be viewed. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are consolidating our archived media to one safe location "the cloud" so to say and will no longer ...

Good photo storage and sharing
What do you like best? Anyone in our organization can access our photo archive with select permissions by folder and user status. I also like the SSO sign on and Adobe CC integration. What do you dislike? The display is different through navigation than it is through search. Also, we are not able to assign permissions by a folder to a particular user, only user level (user/admin/etc.. Recommendations to others considering the product: Talk to your IT team about integrating Libris into ...

Big Improvement for our Midsize University
What do you like best? The ability to have a public-facing gallery made image distribution to clients FAR easier than the manual steps we had to go through before. What do you dislike? Single-sign on licensing was out of our price range, limiting many options within the tool. Recommendations to others considering the product: For a large organization, single sign on should be a must-have. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Libris made ...

Easy to use digital media management system
What do you like best? I love the ability to easily upload directly from Adobe Lightroom. What do you dislike? Editors can only download full size images, rather than having the option to download different sizes. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The ability to search for photos based on keywords. The ability to share photo galleries with multiple users with customized access.

Love Libris!
What do you like best? We've explored so many photo organizer tools and Libris is certainly the best bang for your buck! Their combination of custom metadata & IPTC metadata is great and makes searching a breeze. What do you dislike? Sure, the cost is a little steep, so that's definitely a drawback. I also wish there was a checkbox option for the custom metadata info — so that you could select multiple things. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Nice Tutorials, but they could be more broad
What do you like best? Ease dropping in images into PhotoShelter. What do you dislike? Customer support. I never know who I'm going to get to help me and need to explain in detail more than once. Recommendations to others considering the product: Bridge is also another software used to integrate Libris What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Managing images for corporation

Solution for Our Photo Storage
What do you like best? As a destination marketing organization, we hire many visual content contributors and having one place to post, organize, store and share content is invaluable. What do you dislike? It would be great to be able to give photographs longer names so we could include photographer credits and relevant event/location/subject information. It would also be great if 3rd party invited users who contribute photographs or videos would receive an email confirmation that their ...

Clean up you act and get your media in order!
What do you like best? The best feature besides the obvious organization aspect of having all your assets in one place is being able to access them from anywhere. Prior to using Libirs our organization was handcuffed to the local servers that did not allow access unless we were on campus. As a creative team that means we can now have unrestricted access to our media at any time. What do you dislike? Humans will avoid change like the plague and are creatures of habit, at no fault to ...

Libris makes life easy.
What do you like best? The best attributes of Libris are it's simplicity and ease of use for all users whether they are Photoshelter veterans or new to the software. What do you dislike? I would like to make it easier to share one-time downloads with non-invited users. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our organization has three offices and covers events that span the entire Los Angeles city limits and multiple counties, so the ability for ...
