Solid Database Solution
What do you like best? The best part about Libris is giving my clients the ability to search a database of imagery. I rarely run into issues with my clients having trouble accessing files. What do you dislike? I haven't found anything to dislike about Libris. Our university has never had a need that wasn't met by this system. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Libris gives us the ability to keep a database of imagery for university clients to ...

Libris has been great — no complaints here.
What do you like best? The organization of Libris is what makes it stand out—between the custom metadata and the regular metadata, you have everything you need. What do you dislike? The sharing permissions are a little clunky and pricing is a little steep for non-profit organizations. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Photography storage and organization — this is so important for all aspects of design and marketing

Digital Asset Management improvements
What do you like best? Libris allows us to access our photo assets on the road with ease. We can empower our team to export the size image they need, eliminating the step of pulling images into photoshop. What do you dislike? Having to download images vs. place them directly. Also, some of our photographers have challenges uploading to Libris. Recommendations to others considering the product: The initial upload takes quite a bit of time but is worth it. We'd recommend a checklist to ...

Libris equipped us to set a great example of fail safe, customer oriented digital asset management.
What do you like best? The ability to organize and deliver searchable AND browsable images AND video clips in one, well presented system with multi-faceted security options and public facing commerce potential. What do you dislike? The inability to 'scrub' video assets to determine if the clip has a particular sub-clip or visual interest. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Making assets discoverable to multiple thinker types. Everyone looks ...

Great for collaboration
What do you like best? We can easily obtain photos from our photographers across all our sports. What do you dislike? Links appear as spam a lot. Wish we could send photos to staff without them missing the email. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are able to archive a lot of old photos, videos and more and access anywhere at anytime.

Libris has changed the way UnCruise manages media
What do you like best? Overall, this has totally changed the way our company accesses and shares digital assets. Being able to search our assets by keywords and tags has helped our sales and marketing teams. Also being able to send Libris links of certain photos to publication requests has also saved a lot of time. What do you dislike? The user interface can be clunky on the admin side, sometimes when I am uploading/selecting photos the page will become unresponsive or the left side bar ...

First year user
What do you like best? Not having to stop what I'm doing and search for photos for someone/people. With Libris, I can grant them access and they look for themselves! What do you dislike? The amount of time it takes to tag—I wish there was facial recognition which would eliminate have the tagging. To date, we don't have all our photos tagged and therefore the search option is not usable for us. Browsers can be an issue too so I always have to tell people to use chrome. And for those that ...

Sporadic Glitches, But Would Recommend
What do you like best? I like how easy it is to organize the folders/photos within Photoshelter, and the functionality of the custom metadata has significantly improved the way we organize and search for specific photos. What do you dislike? I've experienced a lot of glitches when working in Photoshelter. When scrolling through a folder of photos, oftentimes I'll click on a particular photo and a different photo shows up. And sometimes when I'm scrolling it will re-order the photos as the ...

Very pleased we switched to Libris several years ago
What do you like best? Hands down, the best feature is that Libris is cloud-based and our photos and other digital assets are available from any location. Managing accounts and permissions for several different types of users is also very easy. It's also very easy for our photographers to upload photos to Libris. What do you dislike? Keyword search could be improved so that the right assets (among our hundreds of thousands are easier to find. Recommendations to others considering the ...

Very responsive when we need their support.
What do you like best? The professional look of the site, ease of use and organization of files. What do you dislike? I wish word documents could be previewed and download buttons more visible...bigger. Instant download should not be a temporary link. Recommendations to others considering the product: Download button more prominent. Too small. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have a professional download site now for media to use thanks ...
