Great experience as a young professional
What do you like best? The best part of Libris is the ability to use keywords to tag pictures and find them easily later What do you dislike? I dislike that Libris does not allow you to move to another photo when tagging without saving your changes because your changes will be lost. You must save, move photos, then click edit again instead of editing and automatically saving. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Libris makes organizing our wide ...

Fast and user-friendly
What do you like best? I like the fact that the photos are loaded quickly and that, from the back end, you can just drag and drop files from one to another gallery and reorganise the assets quickly. What do you dislike? The interface changes too much from an administrator point of view, as opposed from a portal visitor. There is no automatic notification of a new user registration. Files with same names can be uploaded and this is a bit confusing. Recommendations to others considering the ...

Can organize years worth of images
What do you like best? My favorite part is how easy it is to upload images by dragging and dropping the images. Also, how I can organize all my folders the way we do business. What do you dislike? It’s not as user friendly as I wished. My client can’t find the download button because of the cookies pop up. And then after that sometimes the shopping cart isn’t large enough for them to see it. They always have to call me. Recommendations to others considering the product: Recommendations ...

Great cloud-based platform for story/photo storage
What do you like best? It's a great cloud-based platform to store all the stories and photos we get from the field, in an easy to find format. We can automatically search and find the resources we want, and create multiple logins which has been really helpful. What do you dislike? Stories and photos must be tagged--it would be great to have some kind of a smart AI integration to automatically search through them -- or find different ways to organize resources (not just in folders. Some ...

Using Libris
What do you like best? The Libris platform is great for organizations with multiple users. I like having the ability to set permissions based on who I want to give access to which content. What do you dislike? Video and animation file support has been tricky in the past. I've also had clients who struggle to figure out the process to download an entire shoot if they want it offline and often find myself walking them through the steps. Recommendations to others considering the product: ...

Great place to organize and securely distribute photos
What do you like best? Being able to allow others to peruse our photos without having to guess what they need. What do you dislike? The limitation of one editor and one tagger -- it would be handy to allow an extra person. The inability to upload vector-EPS files for logo/brand distribution. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It's a great time-saver! I rarely now have to collect/assemble photos to send to others -- except for certain exceptions.

Easy image storage
What do you like best? Easy to up load and categorize tons of images. What do you dislike? It is difficult to view file names if they are long. For us, ours are very long and similar, so you have to open image, then scroll thru to read. Time consuming. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We can add tons of explicit meta data. Makes for easy searching.

Really great archive option
What do you like best? Libris is a very straightforward way to archive lots of images so that a group of users can find what they need when they need it. What do you dislike? Not really a "dislike", but it would be nice if Libris was more of a collaborative platformm. (users could open and image, make changes and save. Recommendations to others considering the product: create a master list of keywords for your users before tagging images What problems are you solving with the product? ...

Two Words: Time & Organization
What do you like best? The ability to meta tag our assets/the great search feature. The privacy settings paired with single sign on ability is great for our company as well. I love that photographers can upload w/o needing an account. Saves my department so much time! What do you dislike? I haven't run into major dislikes yet! I only wish we could have more users. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make the switch! What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Great Product
What do you like best? I love the easy to use interface and the organizational structure. Once you set up your file structure, uploading images is a breeze. It's very convenient that the tags from Lightroom transfer automatically to Libris. The training material is very easy to use. What do you dislike? I'd love to see 2 things: 1 More rolls or customizable rolls. There are time I wish that you could pick what function a user has. 2 Easy set up for private sales. Recommendations to ...
