Works great for our team
What do you like best? Libris has been very functional for our team, this is our first DAM and has met all of our expectations. It is very nice to have all of our visual assets in one place and to have them searchable. The various levels of permissions have worked great to be able to share assets with specific groups and people. People have access to the specific things they need. The FileFlow app has also been great when double checking images while out in the field. Libris is straight ...

Great product!
What do you like best? The user interface is great—easy to navigate. What do you dislike? The sharing permissions and setup is a little chunky and could be improved. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure you have an owner on staff that is willing to manage it on a weekly basis. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Better organization, storage, and team asset/image sharing.

Easy to use + mobile-friendly
What do you like best? I love that this database is mobile-friendly, as the previous system we were using did not have mobile-friendly capabilities. This has been a game-changer for my job and I use this software almost daily, even on the weekends. What do you dislike? Sometimes I have trouble finding photos I need. This could be our photographers still figuring out the categorization system they want to use. Working on a university campus, we have many varied needs for this type of ...

One of the best decisions ever
What do you like best? The ability to have so many images in one location and having everyone have the ability to upload their images. What do you dislike? To be honest I haven't found any as of yet. I'll dive deeper and come back What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? One place where everyone can upload everything and keep it.

Great photo storage
What do you like best? I like the user experience of the platform. It makes it very intuitive and simple to navigate how to organize photos, preview and download. What do you dislike? Perhaps I just haven't figured it out, but I wish that there was a way to select multiple photos to download at once instead of individually. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? As a graphic designer, I like the integration of design software with Libris ...

Granular Permissions and Easy Sharing
What do you like best? Ability to set permissions at the gallery level; Attractive portal for public access; Ease of uploading assets; Great knowledge base What do you dislike? Lack of control over which fields are public/private; Limitations within lightbox functionality--permissions must be set on a per-image basis, so it's not ideal for sharing selections of files What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Libris helps us to organize a ...

The best! Libris has completely organized our folders.
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Libris has vastly improved our work process. Through it, we’ve been able to easily save our media files into the correct folders. As a consequence, this has made file-sharing to our clients much more easily too. What aspects are problematic or could work better? You can’t just leave Libris running in the background while you try to retrieve files--the program won’t allow you to leave the page. Also, while having a cover photo for ...
