Libris gets it done.

What do you like best? Libris gives me the tools I need to manage and dispatch our assets to the entire campus community. It has also given us a solution to accessing assets when not connected to our campus network. What do you dislike? We are a small non-profit school, the pricing is steep, but now that we have absorbed it into our budgeting cycle, it will be fine. It's still a great value compared to other products, it's just considered a luxury by our accounting people when they ...

Libris for our University

What do you like best? The best thing about Libris for us is the ability it gives us to distribute images and visual files to folks one and off campus. What do you dislike? The thing that we like least is the fact that it isn't as user-friendly as I think it could be. I often get calls from people who simply could not figure out how to navigate the site. Recommendations to others considering the product: Libris is a wonderful tool and is recommended for large businesses or ...

Highly recommended

What do you like best? Libris has greatly helped my department in keeping our content organized, easy to access, and easy to share with other departments at our institution. What do you dislike? Would like to have more options for customizing publicly shared content pages Recommendations to others considering the product: It is a great tool and very easy to use. We couldn't be happier with the product. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Great service for any nonprofit looking for a way to organize & quickly locate their digital assets.

What do you like best? The user interface is not cluttered and intuitive for first-time users. I also enjoy the speed at which I am able to navigate and interact with the web portal, there is no lag or delay jumping from one section of the system to another. But I think what I've liked the most and what informed a big part of my organization's decision to sign up the service is the customer service we've received even before we were customers. Being able to know people at their office on ...

Excellent platform, does not have 24hr customer service

What do you like best? The platform uses reliable and good servers, and is user friendly. What do you dislike? There is no 24 hr customer service nor tech support, so if you have an issue after hours or during the weekend you are pretty much on standby till someone clocks in. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? we used Libris to upload and distribute 20,000+ photos over a span of 1.5 months.

Simple and effective way to organize and share digital assets

What do you like best? The front end user interface is intuitive and easy to learn and it's easy to customize with our branding. The Portal looks clean and professional - it's easy to share content with anyone. The interface overall is quite fast and easy to use. There are many upload options, all of which are fast and easy. The servers seem fast and reliable. What do you dislike? The backend interface is not as intuitive as the end user interface. I wish there were versioning ...

Organized Approach

What do you like best? Being able to save space on our internal drives. What do you dislike? I have not found anything I dislike yet. Recommendations to others considering the product: Great for space control! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The meta-tagging for searching helps to find images quicker and being able to share with people outside of our department.

Libris brought all our visual assets together in one place

What do you like best? Libris has allowed us to put all our photos and videos in one bucket, so to speak, with first rate access controls so we can grant specific access to specific groups. We can easily let individuals or groups search and download images of various sizes without hassle. Tens of thousands of images are now at our fingertips! What do you dislike? Getting metadata on video clips is time consuming. You can't batch apply information like you can with still images. And it ...
