Good platform but no 2FA or MFA!
I like the platform but am very concerned about the lack of two factor authentication (2FA) or multi-factor authentication (MFA) to protect our accounts and the information about our assets. That worries me a lot. 2FA is standard IT security these days to protect against scammers and thieves.

The process was mostly simple. Warnings and Turbotax import could be clearer.
The process was mostly simple. The instructions could have been clearer though to find the transactions that were causing warnings. Also, it wasn't immediately clear how to import the Koinly data into Turbotax. You have to choose "other", then type in "Koinly". It would have been nice if this was in Koinly 's instructions, or better yet, keep working with Turbotax to become item in their pull-down menu.

It's a nightmare using Koinly
I used Koinly to do my first crypto tax and it went well the first time as my transactions were very simple. But this year I had to prepare the tax reports again and this time it was a total nightmare! First the integration process was not working well, the balances were incorrect. I raised the issue with Koinly (I had to literally engage with a Bot for hours before I could log a case to speak to a live person) Finally I got a response from Koinly asking me why I created separate exchanges ...

The download and installation processes were good
The download and installation process were good. I was impressed that Koinly could process CEX's as well as wallets. The final evaluation will be how smoothly my tax evaluation ends up being with the CRA. All my files and reports were submitted to my accountant by 240409.

Too many addresses

So far this is hands down the best…
So far this is hands down the best crypto tax software available to us. That said, it needs to be more up to date on the current hot L2's and make wallet importing easier. Currently have to import a wallet for each L2 instead of adding one address and Koinly adding in all transactions across all L2's. This is cumbersome and becomes cluttered in the address section for those of us with dozens of addresses.

The Koinly team is excellent in getting back to me even in the busy tax season and correcting and helping with any errors and questions that come up. I've been with them over the past couple of years, and they have an amazing service always updating their site and features.
