A Flexible, Reliable, and Well-thought-out CMS

What do you like best? The admin interface is better than those of other CMS platforms I have used in the past, such as an older (2009) version of DotNetNuke. The intuitive layout makes it easier to devolve content management tasks onto less-technical coworkers. The Kentico E-commerce module is intended to work as a self-contained online store system. What do you dislike? It would be useful if Google E-commerce Analytics were a simple plug-and-play integration; as it was, this ...

Kentico - You don't have to be a developer to to use!

What do you like best? The ease of use. I can login into a CMS desk from anywhere, even on my phone and make timely updates to my site. What do you dislike? I think the email functionality could be better. Recommendations to others considering the product: Better training guide/support work on the EMS features. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We've created and manage several sites in Kentico instances. It makes it easy ...

Best CMS I have never used

What do you like best? The simplicity of the concept. The ability to manage absolutely everything on it. The idea than you can always go back to c# to write your own code, and use it inside Kentico. The SUPPORT. The 1 week bug hotfixing. What do you dislike? After deploying it, the first load can be sometimes too slow, but this is not a Kentico issue, it is more an .net issue. Recommendations to others considering the product: Learning curve take some time, but after ...

Great product

What do you like best? We've been using Kentico CMS desk to create an internal extranet for our franchise system. Easy to use on the back end and front end. What do you dislike? At times things are slow to load, but that could also be on our end. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Communicate to a large number of people around the world by sending email blasts to selected groups, forums for them to communicate with each other as well ...

Kentico CMS

What do you like best? Kentico allows changes to be made to our website quickly and easily. The navigation of the CMS desk is really simple, made even simpler by the fact you can pin your favourite/most useful pages and editing sections to your home page so you can access them even quicker. Changes in content and design are really easy to do and the preview mode is much better than previous versions of Kentico. All editing of text, uploading of images is really quick and user-friendly, ...

Kentico CMS and Intranet Solution

What do you like best? Very user friendly interface and workflow for both administrators and content editors. We are a large organisation and have multiple backend users of varying levels. The content editing interface is straightforward, logical allowing pages to be created easily and quickly. We also use the Kentico intranet solution which integrates seamlessly with the same user interface. Switching between the 2 is done by a drop down so eliminating the need to log in to a separate ...

Kentico CMS - a CMS that anyone can use

What do you like best? The user interface and layout is really user friendly and easy to navigate. Without much training most people can edit and change pages without much trouble at all. Much of the editing you can do feels like Word and it has similar icons and styles that you can choose. Further to this if you want to go into more depth then there is plenty for more advanced users to get into so it is a good all round system for all levels of users. What do you dislike? ...

We have used Kentico as a CMS platform for our site over the past 15 months

What do you like best? It's an easy to use CMS with a range of scalable features to add depending on business requirements. It's basically a one stop shop for online marketing requirements. What do you dislike? The content synching/staging tool between environments can be clunky and has caused us problems in the past. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? -Kentico has allowed us to accommodate for the rapid growth of our mobile channel ...

Excellent CMS

What do you like best? We have the ability to update almost all the elements on the site as well as having access to analytics in the backend which is of huge benefit. What do you dislike? It does take specialists to set it up but once it was up and running we had very few problems. Recommendations to others considering the product: Excellent CMS and although it is expensive and requires experts to set up, once this is done things run smoothly. What problems are you solving ...

A Small business view on Kentico 7

What do you like best? The finished product looks great, the system has a huge amount of power and endless possibilities all in one place. What do you dislike? There are no step by step process. Different pieces are not always easy to understand or find. User documentation is limited. Access to external reference Videos/Blogs/How to guides is rare at best. A lot of the things you either need to pay an expert to do or find out by trial and error. Recommendations to others ...
