Kentico good but clunky

What do you like best? It gets the job done. Once trained, I can navigate the CMS. What do you dislike? It's really clunky. The steps I need to take to create content is terrible, and it has no memory as to what I was just working on. For example, when I add a feature article to a folder and need to link back to an article I just worked on, it doesn't remember my last task and I have to go through all the folders again to find it and link it. Recommendations to others considering ...

Kentico is user-friendly and feature-rich

What do you like best? As a marketing manager and NOT a developer, I like that I can create new content and edit our website because it is user-friendly. What do you dislike? I am just diving into the campaigns module within Kentico and I love that feature. However, I do wish there were more demographics / reports associated with the campaign results. Recommendations to others considering the product: I would recommend Kentico to anyone. What problems are you solving with the ...

CMS flexible and powerfull

What do you like best? We use this CMS for our production web site. We choose this instead of other (such as sharepoint) for several factor: is in .NET; is not expensive; we really appreciate the staging feature. As a developer we use this CMS as base for our web site, than we develop pages, widget and modules tailored for our needs. What do you dislike? Perforamnce are not the best, expecially when the applicati in starts. We use the web applicatioion version, and everytime after a ...

Kentico CMS really helped move our business forward

What do you like best? Kentico is a great CMS that allows us to manage content across multiple environments, control how updates get published, and manage user workflows easily. What do you dislike? The Kentico platform is organized a bit differently than other content management systems so the learning curve of understanding relationships between different content and page types and templates is a bit higher than normal. What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Kentico is not user friendly

What do you like best? Ability to automatically create re-directs when re-naming a page URL What do you dislike? Its not user friendly, everything is hidden in the menu to change, its completely templated - to create a new unique page expect to shell out thousands if your not a developer Recommendations to others considering the product: Only use this CMS if you plan to outsource or hire someone in house to manage this What problems are you solving with the product? A well-executed CMS that’s great for most enterprise web users

Kentico - Useful Web Management

What do you like best? I liked its ability to edit and manage a large website. It was easy to maneuver and operate in. What do you dislike? Sometimes was wonky and didn't upload PDF's. I also didn't like having to submit items for approval which slowed down many upload processes. Recommendations to others considering the product: I've used many other CMS systems, Kentico has some quirks, but it's by far one of the best ones that I've used. What problems are you solving with ...
