Beginner CMS User

What do you like best? I like how easy it is to create web parts and change pieces of a page at a time. What do you dislike? It's not exactly user friendly. Could definitely use helpful tips near every actionable item instead of having to go to a whole different site and sift through categories to get some answers. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easily create new marketing landing pages. Keep pages organized.

Great CMS across the board, especially for a marketing user

What do you like best? Our shop uses Kentico for all our projects. From a marketing user's perspective, it's really intuitive and easy to make updates to our sites. I don't do any development work, but our team is always talking positively about Kentico's out-of-the-box features. They've really mastered it. What do you dislike? From a marketing-user perspective, can't really think of anything! Recommendations to others considering the product: I'm a marketing user myself, but ...

Tons of features, may seem overwhelming

What do you like best? With minimal technical abilities, can set up a pretty nice website, full of features, notifications, links to videos, whitepapers, etc. What do you dislike? Not a fan of help documentation. Too cumbersome to follow for a newbie. Had to get a separate training before being able to follow steps in the docs, and even then, with so many features and configurations, it's difficult. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Kentico Review

What do you like best? Kentico is an easy Content Management system to use and our clients really like it. It can be customized to meet your exact needs but is also a great out of the box solution as well. If you are looking for an easy to navigate and scalable CMS I would recommend looking into Kentico. What do you dislike? Kentico spends a lot of effort on their EMS product and we do not utilize it because our clients do not use e-commerce. It is not a very well known application ...

Kentico is very easy to use!

What do you like best? Kentico is a very easy CMS system to use - easy navigation and simple UX! What do you dislike? Sometimes when publishing a blog post, for example, there can be some confusion with publish dates! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We can send all emails from one place.

Kentico user experience review

What do you like best? Kentico is a very intuitive system with an easy to use navigation to the CMS and EMS. What do you dislike? It's quite a bulky platform and there seem to be a lot of "dead areas" of use. Recommendations to others considering the product: I would highly recommend Kentico but do talk to them about CRM integrations and marketing automation as we are currently having difficulty due to certain upgrades and GDPR compliances What problems are you solving with ...

Ease to use and lots of functionality

What do you like best? Part of my job is to teach our clients how to login and make updates within Kentico. I like that you do not have to be a developer to edit content, add blog posts, move pages, etc. Kentico is very easy to learn. I also like the reporting you can create in Kentico to easily keep track of form fills. What do you dislike? I sometimes have issues with the Impersonate feature on Kentico. It is definitely not immune to weird random buggy issues as we make updates as ...

All-in-1 Marketing Automation, Website Management, and Experience Platform

What do you like best? Kentico combines both stability and out-of-the-box functionality with openness for customization. What do you dislike? Contact mgmt for multi-site is a little difficult to streamline Recommendations to others considering the product: Great platform to get up-and-running quickly, customize over the long haul, and without overpaying for enterprise software which doesn't get fully utilized. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

Good but not great

What do you like best? It is easy to create simple content and easy to explain to a non-frequent user how to edit existing content. What do you dislike? Difficult to create page templates customized to our needs. Synchronization of tasks continues to have issues and often lags or doesn't run at all. Could be an issue with our provider, though. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Communication channels are opened because of this tool. ...

Wouldn't recommend it

What do you like best? Nothing, frankly. I wasn't around for implementation, but using it has been painful. Shopify and Demandware were much better. What do you dislike? The email marketing through Kentico is onerous, with limited analytical insights. You can't schedule banners to go up and down when you want. The promotion capabilities are limited. The platform isn't the most intuitive. I'd go with shopify, personally. Recommendations to others considering the product: Unless ...
