Great product and easy to get up and running.
What do you like best? JumpCloud is easy to setup and allows us to control machine level GPOs and centralize authentication for our users. Also nice that they support 2FA which allows us further enhance our organizations security posture. What do you dislike? The JumpCloud agent for OSX works but we have found there are some small problems here and there which cause unexpected issues, it would be nice if the JumpCloud support was more receptive to our tickets instead of putting the ...

The Best Lightweight Solution
What do you like best? Cheap, easy, and surprisingly powerful. When you don't need all the bells and whistles (or extra costs) this is the only good solution. What do you dislike? Not as feature rich as it could be, which completely makes sense for the price. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Jumpcloud makes it almost brain-dead easy to administer passwords and simple policies in a small business environment.

Great software as a service
What do you like best? Love that it is a directory as a service....we found nothing else like it on the market. Easy to learn. I like that the password rule sets. What do you dislike? The sign on is abit confusing with admin and regular portal. Otherwise you guys are doing a great job. I'm not the main user, I initially set up the account and we have another team member managing with. He has no complaints. I think the only thing I wish it has was use for all the things our dev team ...

Directory for the family
What do you like best? My favorite feature for jumpcloud is the GSuite integration. One password to rule them all! It makes helping out my parents, who aren't the most tech savvy people, and my siblings much much easier. What do you dislike? I don't actually have any complaints for using jumpcloud yet. I've only been using it for a couple of months but these couple of months have been great. Recommendations to others considering the product: They have the tools and ...

Perfect for environments that aren't 100% Windows
What do you like best? Makes it easy to coordinate user accounts and permissions across multiple OSes (Windows, Linux, and MacOS); that was my primary reason for moving to JumpCloud. But being able to additionally use those same logins and permissions with a multitude of web services really sealed the deal. What do you dislike? The only real issue I've run into was that the Linux support is limited to a handful of Linux distros. I can understand the decision, and they've certainly ...

Great Application
What do you like best? Simple way to manage a small office/retail organization. Provides what is needed without a lot of overhead. Makes managing a small staff easy and accurate. Cloud based administration means adjustments can be made from anywhere. Users like that they have the same user experience on the different systems they use. Also, this creates a more productive environment for the organization. What do you dislike? It would be nice if there were more Windows policy ...

It’s done before you even get started
What do you like best? I like that you don’t have to setup your own infrastructure to get started with LDAP. It’s affordable, I am using the free tier at the moment and it was a delight and relief to get started with. What do you dislike? At the moment, nothing! I am planning to integrate it into my projects and then I’ll be able to tell. Recommendations to others considering the product: If time is a valuable resource to you, and it always is then use JumpCloud What ...

I love not needing to have an AD server for small business
What do you like best? Elegance of implementation, managing users, systems, SSH Keys, SAML SSO, What do you dislike? SAML/SSO feature of many SaaS products require the more expensive Enterprise version eg Slack. Jumpcloud should partner with companies and do a promo code. SAML/SSO is not just for enterprises anymore. Recommendations to others considering the product: Implement ManageEngine alongside JumpCloud to manage patches, etc. What problems are you solving with ...

Recommended by IT Professional
What do you like best? I like being able to manage users and the systems they have access to remotely. It is easy to setup access for new employees and remove old access. It has been very interesting learning the new way of updating access versus the traditional Microsoft Windows -> Control Panel ->Users. What do you dislike? I have had some issues with syncing; the changes made in the cloud can take some time to update on the computer. There was an issue with complete ...
