The best CMS for advanced users.

What do you like best? The ability to customize my website to my needs and be able to take my site, share the database and build apps for my needs. Joomla allows you to do everything for your site with advanced knowledge of CSS, HTML and more. Most template providers offer their own framework, the current one we use is based on Bootstrap 3 which allows us to customize and build custom modules based on Bootstrap 3. What do you dislike? The design of the admin panel and lack of admin ...

CMS for Dummies

What do you like best? We use Joomla to build and host websites on behalf of our clients. One of the main reasons we selected Joomla as our platform of choice is because of ease of use. It's something that we can very easily train our own internal, non-technologically savvy staff to use (once site is up or the client. What do you dislike? Can be difficult to find the answer to bugs or how to set-up modules. Need to be really resourceful in tracking down articles online or forums. What ...

What do you like best? Joomla is one of the web's most popular open source CMS and one of the most used open source CMS worldwide. it is very easy to use and has usage manuals all over the web to assist a user. it also has an SEO setting section that allows you to set the basic SEO functions for the site. Great product if you want a nice custom website but without all the cost or coding

What do you like best? Once you get the hang of how the different features, plugins, and content are structured, it becomes very easy to maintain an active website with lots of updates. What do you dislike? Building and/or modifying templates can at times be a real pain if you are looking for a very specific look. Recommendations to others considering the product Do a test site first and load in the sample data that comes with it (an option during installation. Having that data in will ...

Joomla is the right fit for some sites

What do you like best? Joomla is certainly a good open source CMS. Although WordPress tends to be the defacto goto for most website designers, Joomla offers some features WordPress lacks. The versatility of the Joomla modules makes laying out your pages a lot easier than with a WordPress. The User roles are a nice feature as well, especially if you are creating a membership based website. What do you dislike? Joomla seems to be be a bit heavy. Every Joomla site I've built tends to run ...

one of the most popular PHP open source CMS

What do you like best? Joomla! has a great community with a vast range of choices of plugins. There is a native framework with ORM, MVC templating system, file caching system and other useful classes for developers. Joomla! is more than a CMS, it's an ecosystem with the CMS at the core, where you can pack and install almost every feature you need. What do you dislike? As more ...

Free CMS for websites

What do you like best? Joomla has a very good framework that allows very good customization. I used Joomla for a school project and was completely new to web development, and it is really useful to learn. I had the basics of PHP, so learning it was easy. Also allows non-technical people to make changes to the website with its superior user interface. What do you dislike? Although Joomla has a number of templates available, there is a need for more. Also certain plugins need to be updated ...
