What do you like best? Basic timesheet tool for team members. Reporting is minimal. What do you dislike? Not enough functionality to measure capacity and manage hours going against a project. Recommendations to others considering the product Better employee management, better tracking of time on a per project basis. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Time tracking on a per project basis - mostly designer focused.

Intervals Review

What do you like best? It covers the needs of my company. From company info to hours logged and multiple users on an account. I like that we can assign tasks to others. What do you dislike? It looks like something done in the 90's. It needs to be more user friendly, more modern with a focus on UX. Recommendations to others considering the product It gets the job done and meets expectations. It covers every need and then some. It just lacks a bit in design and user experience. ...

does not meet all my needs

What do you like best? job visibility, keeps the team informed of job status What do you dislike? everything is tracked by hours and timer, we do not track time internally. i cannot use the other features because of this. Recommendations to others considering the product this does not meet all the needs of an in-house art department that interacts with product development and sales staff. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Facilitates a culture of distrust

What do you like best? Intervals allows you to accurately track how much time has been allocated to a specific project which is useful for budgeting and for discovering cracks where time can slip through. What do you dislike? I don't like when intervals is used to track employee time in fifteen minute increments because it creates this culture of distrust in employee productivity. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Specifically ...

An application that needs a lot of work. There are better options out there.

What do you like best? What I like best is that it is in the cloud. Now, this is not a differentiator by any means. What do you dislike? I think the entire product is cumbersome to use. It has a steep learning curve that does not fit smaller teams. I think the product was build by developers (without UX experience for developers. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We run a large development shop that include other departments. ...

Dirt cheap, covers the basics and great bulletin board system; but UX for visual deciders is poor

What do you like best? It's deep. There's thorough space for paper trail and communications on projects, time and statuses. It's dirt cheap. What do you dislike? It's not primarily a visual interface. It's a huge bulletin board system, which has its benefits in support systems or IT environments (for example, but not in advertising and workflow environments like ours. We need to see everything at a glance, we need to make changes in real time, we need to make decisions quickly. It's ...

Efficient & simple to use

What do you like best? Simplicity; the ease of tracking time with Intervals helps to encourage users who generally don't like to stop for administrative exercises. Most just keep the web page open and enter as they go. Entering the data near real-time helps to improve overall data quality. What do you dislike? The ability to create teams, groups or departments would be a helpful feature for data analysis. Excel report layouts could be more pivot table ready. Recommendations to others ...

Great Tool for Increased Productivity

What do you like best? The ease of use and the workflow process. Intervals makes it easy to go from setting up a Client, to Project, to Tasks. What do you dislike? Taking files from intervals to email is challenging. PDF's work easy but when other file types like EPS & JPGS are much more challenging. Recommendations to others considering the product It would be great if there was a signature/client proofing integration. A component where we send proofs to clients and then have them ...
