Intellij the Best IDE
What do you like best? It has a really nice look-and-feel as compared to Eclipse. It is also having a faster response time. I personally love this tool. The best part is that the company has a similar type of IDEs for different languages. For example, the PyCharm tool is also having similar keyboard layout. So, once I learned IntelliJ, I learned other flavours also What do you dislike? It is not completely free. I would love to see some JavaEE stuff in the free version. Recommendations to ...

Great software, even for beginners, very intuitive.
What do you like best? I'm completely new to the development scene, and learning java from scratch, and I find the controls and shortcut keys to be very intuitive. There a few great tutorials on youtube of how to use the software, and many other resources to be found all over the web. What do you dislike? I wish there were more themes, and I wish I could have different themes for each project I'm working on to help me know which one I'm looking at without having to read the top of the ...

Super visually appealing IDE that is easy to use
What do you like best? I really like this IDE. I am in the process of learning Java for a new job and using this editor makes the process so much easier. There's a lot more syntactical stuff to worry about with Java compared to Python, but I definitely feel a lot less lost when I use IntelliJ. What do you dislike? The keyboard commands that are listed online don't work on a Mac computer, even with the documentation that is specifically for Macs. Recommendations to others considering the ...

What do you like best? Plugins let you code for multiple languages (I code for Salesforce/Apex/VisualForce with the same IDE that supports Java, Javascript and dozens more. What do you dislike? Subscription model is not ideal and the UI is super busy but any IDE this sophisticated that will always be the case. Takes time to learn to use but worth the investment. Recommendations to others considering the product Buy it already What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Best IDE for Java Development
What do you like best? The IDE is designed from the ground up for Java development. Eventual it has grown to support other languages, but I can see the core principle to support Java first mentality is still there. What do you dislike? As mentioned earlier, the IDE has grown quite a bit. The download size of the software has gotten much bigger. At the same time, the software itself becomes more and more sluggish over time. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...
