Clunky interface causes issues with what is an otherwise outstanding product
What do you like best? Great integration with Git is by far my favorite part of IntelliJ. We often just use it for the Git integration alone and code in other programs. Very customizable which provides great flexibility for organizations that need custom solutions for their coding. What do you dislike? Resource intense program, even on faster machines you can tell that IntelliJ is running in the background. Has some things in it that might not be needed out of the gate, perhaps that ...

The syntax highlighting and code completion are phenomenal, and IntelliJ even provides some code optimization suggestions. The search functionality, including being able to click to find usages or click to find declarations of variables help tremendously. What do you dislike? If you leave IntelliJ running for too long it seems to grind to a halt. This is ...
