IntelliJ IDE is simply one of the best tools I've used.
What do you like best? There's so much customization that you can do, live templates and auto-refactoring are a few of my favorites. Another thing is that IntelliJ IDE's platform is quite consistent all throughout the other IDEs that they have such as PyCharm, PhpStorm, and even Android Studio. What do you dislike? Running web app on Tomcat works great for some colleagues but not all – useless logging without any details, the server doesn’t start, no hints for how to solve, the Server ...

Great
What do you like best? The user interface is clean and easy to use. The themes are well-matched What do you dislike? The font isn't very modern and with the solarized theme it can be hard to read sometimes. Recommendations to others considering the product The plugin system is very useful. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It's solid IDE that greatly improves productivity over using command line tools.

Very good IDE with all the features you need to develop on big codebases.
What do you like best? The best feature of this software is the refactoring tools which paired with their intellisense are extremely helpful to programmers. Debug and inspect code is amazing with this IDE and works great with: Java and jbheave, Grails and cucumber, Javascript and nightwatch What do you dislike? Overall the software is very good, but the main downside is that's very expensive for individuals not to mention it's on a yearly subscription base. The lack of innovative ...

Best IDE for education
What do you like best? Many of my colleagues use Eclipse. IntelliJ provides a much cleaner interface while providing more features. What do you dislike? Sometimes more difficult to set up basic features such as JUnit testing. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We're looking for an IDE that integrates well with Git and allows our students to have a smooth onboarding to Java.

Best debugger + clean interface
What do you like best? The debugger displays any variable alterations in the lines that are making them. So if you set a variable to a value, or are doing some complex math, it will kind of watermark that line of code with the variables being used. Super helpful when debugging school projects, and I am sure it is even more helpful for advanced users! What do you dislike? The price, though it may be worth it if you are coding a lot (or if you're a student like I am and get it for free. ...

Highly recommend
What do you like best? Good for coding in Java and many other programming languages. What do you dislike? I haven't really faced any major issues yet, but I guess the price is a bit on the higher side. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Building software with ease, as compared to purely text based editors.
