IntelliJ is fantastic

What do you like best? It's so much easier to use and easier to set up than Eclipse. If you're trying to create something in JavaFX for instance, IntelliJ is so much better than Eclipse it isn't even funny. Otherwise, IntelliJ has all the normal tools that a good IDE has like word completion, auto-importing, etc. What do you dislike? What do you like best? The code completion is miles ahead of any other IDE, not just the Java ones. It is contextually aware and gives spot-on suggestions 99% of the times. On-the-fly code flow analysis. It analyzes your code as you type it.
