What do you like best? - The ability to jump from function usage to it's definition. This saves an incredible amount of time to understand function and class workings and definitions. Complicated setup can take a LONG time to do and some settings/preferences aren't quite clear as to what they do. Finding the cause of something happening in your IDE to change it can can hours. IntelliJ is fantastic
What do you like best? It's so much easier to use and easier to set up than Eclipse. If you're trying to create something in JavaFX for instance, IntelliJ is so much better than Eclipse it isn't even funny. Otherwise, IntelliJ has all the normal tools that a good IDE has like word completion, auto-importing, etc. What do you dislike? A superior IDE
What do you like best? The code completion is miles ahead of any other IDE, not just the Java ones. It is contextually aware and gives spot-on suggestions 99% of the times. On-the-fly code flow analysis. It analyzes your code as you type it. Errors are obviously indicated immediately but it will also tell you if certain portion of your code is unreachable, or might produce some runtime error, or even offer some tips to simplify your logic and clean up your code.
