Power tool for power users
What do you like best? Intellij is super helpful with developing all things Java. I use it at work for writing rest APIs and SDKs, and at home I use for programming libGDX games. Most helpful: git integration. Super handy managing merge conflicts, switching between branches and rebasing, in comparison to a pure cli approach. What do you dislike? Intellij still make it rather confusing to set up Java packages and dependencies. It is hard to remove the red highlight over class ...

My Intellij IDEA Experiences
What do you like best? Before that I used another IDE. But with its interface, project creation processes, and interfaces that make it easy to write code, the intellij IDEA is really useful and makes code writing. In addition, the installation and start of writing tools to start really easy and fast to take place, especially in front of Visual Studio is in this respect. What do you dislike? I'm using Eclipse keyMap, not its own keyMap. Your own keyMap can also speak the same language ...

Using IntelliJ IDEA As Your Java IDE
What do you like best? I like the vast support and templates IntelliJ offers for Java-based projects. It allows you to easily skip the command line setup and get into the code quickly. When working with smaller projects, this IDE can be a bit "heavy" and the complexity would outway the benefits. The limited customizability can at times make this a less open experience ...
