The best tool for Java Development

What do you like best? It is so good that Android Studio is actually based and developed by the same guys as IDEA and for a good reason. I remember my days in college when I had to choose between Eclipse or Netbeans and hated it. I was in engineering for the money so that wasn't going to stop me but when I found IntelliJ IDEA that actually changed and started to like programming in java so a good IDE actually makes a big difference. I still develop in java but far less than before but ...

Used Intellij IDEA for work in a fortune 500 company. Wasn't disappointed.

What do you like best? The ability to have so much control on your workspace, starting from intelligent code prediction, inbuilt database management tools, seamless git integration and the best thing is the way Intellij allows me to resolve git conflicts. Inability to quickly open up a file ...

The themes provided in the IDE are not very handy, plus it is a very performance heavy IDE, so you probably want a better system to use along with Intellij. What problems are you solving ...

Best IDE for Java/Kotlin/Android Dev

What do you like best? Very intuitive, intelligent IDE which has saved a lot of time for development of applications. I am using the Ultimate edition and it has plethora of features including those which you wouldn't expect in an IDE like automatic generation of class diagrams out of our built code. What do you dislike? I would love it more if it has more suggestions features, like suggesting settings or configurations from gradle code Recommendations to others considering the ...
