What do you like best about IntelliJ IDEA? IDEA is a truly intelligent IDE, it knows what I'm going to do and offers me the ways to improve it. Code analysis is great, too, especially when you're joining a new project. Refactoring for static languages such as Java works perfectly. Maven or Gradle, Git or Mercurial, PostgreSQL or Oracle, whatever you use - IDEA supports it.

"The best IDE I've ever used"
What do you like best about IntelliJ IDEA? IntelliJ IDEA offers a very streamlined experience for software development. It has lots of integrations with popular languages, technologies, and frameworks. Its code suggestion/completion feature is also outstanding. The best thing I like about it, however, is its advanced debugging capabilities (conditional breakpoints, expression evaluation in the current context, drop frames, etc.).
