Strongest feature is ability to read minds

What do you like best? IntelliJ just works the way I expect it to. I use IntelliJ and Eclipse at the expert level, and there is no comparison in the productivity. Keyboard shortcuts in IntelliJ are well thought out, and I just naturally go to the right ones. Eclipse mostly doesn't have mappings for most of their features although you are free to map your own, who wants to take the time. Getting the little things right

What do you like best? All the normal features you would expect from a standard IDE are there. Refactoring, search, shortcuts, etc. What makes IDEA different are the little additional features they find that just simplify or accelerate the development. What do you like best? What I love about IntelliJ is that everything just works. After using Eclipse for 7 years I grew used to the fact that it hogged memory, and too many plugins running really degraded performance. With IntelliJ I don't have any of those worries. Whether I load up a Spring Boot project in Maven, or a Web Application/Service using Gradle IntelliJ recognises the project and detects the fact that I'm using Spring and makes life so much easier. What do you like best? To me the best feature of IntelliJ IDEA is refactoring. It allows for a non-stop improvement of any code I'm working on. What do you dislike? What do you like best? 1. Cross-reference navigation. IDEA was the first Java IDE feature "Find uses" / "Find usages" functionality and this feature is still the biggest productivity factor. 2. What do you like best? Faster than Eclipse, somehow it just works without installing bunch of additional plugins. What do you dislike? Scala import could be tricky, but I think that's just me. What do you like best? Easy project setup and code migration. Has lots of useful plugins like Maven and Jrebel . Subversion integration is also very organized.
