What do you like best? I really like it for debugging, it is really easy to setup and connect the IDE to a JVM. It provides a good management of the breakpoints and watches. It really helps to see what is happening at each moment in your application, displaying not only the value of the variables but many other attributes as well. Incredibly powerful

What do you like best? I really like the decompiler tool. I just think it is really amazing that you can jump into decompiled java code so easily. Git integration is great, which gives me the chance to work in the same window all the time. I don't need to go to the terminal to run commands because I've got everything I need inside the IDE. What do you like best? What I like best in IntelliJ is the ability to be productive using the vast amount of shortcuts provided. Using the mouse is ok, but when you start increasing your productivity by using shortcuts, there's no way back. What do you dislike? The support for Java 8 is still not very mature. What do you like best? It starts up quick for a heavy IDE. Plugins are top notch. Support for newer technologies like Scala, Groovy, Angular, etc. makes it easier to code and build application quicker. The layout is clean and uncluttered, and can be customized in sensible ways. What do you like best? I love the refactoring, navigation through class hierarchy and debugging features. It has a lot of plugins to support some of the most popular languages and frameworks out there.
