IntelliJ IDEA Obsoletes any other IDE I've ever used

What do you like best? When I started Java programming, the standard IDE was eclipse. So that's what I used. I wasn't able to get very good at using eclipse. Maybe if someone had told me that the code completion wasn't context sensitive, I would have been better at it. But context-sensitive completion is something that is core to IntelliJ IDEA and has boosted my productivity immensely. What do you like best? Is solid and really nice built. Easy to use is a plus when using it for sure. What do you dislike? A lot of features at the cost of not being lightweight

What do you like best? Coming from an Eclipse background, IntelliJ as a product seems more polished. There are many, many plugins for Scala, Go, etc. and they seem to be of good quality. Fewer crashes than Eclipse. What do you dislike? There are a lot of configuration items and it can be confusing in that respect. The tool seems very "heavy" and takes a lot of resources.
