Before shortlisting, verify that your chart of accounts structure aligns with F9's data model—the tool requires clean, standardized GL coding to function effectively.

If your GL uses custom segment combinations or non-standard hierarchies, you'll need to map and potentially restructure data before import. Check whether F9 integrates with your existing ERP or accounting system.

F9 pulls data from SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics, but if you run a smaller ERP or custom system, you may need manual data exports or a third-party connector. Ask the vendor for a technical requirements document and request a data mapping walkthrough during your demo.

In a demo, ask to see how F9 handles multi-entity consolidation if you have subsidiaries or cost centers. Also verify performance with your actual GL size—F9 can slow down with very large account hierarchies or multi-year datasets.
