This was a pretty good company until a few years ago. I am an advanced degree scientist who likes variety, and dips his toes in many situations where I've made solid, fast contributions. But the last position I got through Indeed was based on lies - though I came out financially ahead on the deal after 6 months, the lie from the outsourcing firm SSi that I would get a permanent position after 6 months was obvious from the get-go. Filled out apps on indeed for a couple months with zero help. Went to the career page of companies bypassing indeed and instantly got a job. Indeed gives your information out also, so when you apply watch how many spam calls you start to receive.

Dodgy company - DO NOT USE.

if you are an employer , do not use, awful service. basically a dodgy company… poor cv, poor service… poor website.

Indeed is a scam

Indeed needs to fire its entire Web development team. The site is shockingly laid out, as an employer I can spend 15 minutes just trying to find information to then find it doesn't even exist. They also deviously hide your bank information and don't allow you to see it or change it so they can take extra payments from your bank. Multiple times I have cancelled a job listing only for months later get hit with bills from them and them tell me they will take the money from my bank ...

Yes there's jobs on indeed, but my problem with indeed, is that there is some biases towards some companies and will spam those companies/jobs instead of searching for what your actually looking for. For example, if you're NOT interested in a company and use the filter, it will still suggest you that company. 👎🤷

This is now several emails that I am sending to indeed and still no result. This is my work email and you are still sending job alrearts there that were NEVER requested to be. Indeed did this. Tell me why !!!!!!!!!!!! This has to be deliberate. I am starting to post these as reviews on Trust Pilot. Obviously Indeed can’t be trusted.

Awkward and unprofessional

I recently applied for a position which required me to call a number. I was then given a message by the proposed employer asking me to give certain details and answers. On trying to do so, I heard loud electronic noise through the earpiece which I found very off-putting. Later that night, I received a call from the business owner asking me to call the number back and go through the process again. Indeed is a waste of time for the…

Indeed is a waste of time for the employer and applicant as it automates communications that are irrelevant to my career and sends out assessments that never reach the assessment page. It is like being stalked by digital automation. Then comms that do need to reach you don't. Good for wasting everyones time.
