"Amazing Videography Editing Software - Wholeheartedly Recommended!"
What do you like best about iMovie? What I like best about iMovie is its ability to edit videos to a very significant extent while maintaining a simple to use and easy-to-learn platform. I very much enjoy that unlike some competitors, it does not require an active internet connection to function, which makes it accessible even when you are "off the grid". I also very much enjoy its ability to alter the audio in a multitude of fashions, for a more pleasing end result, (it also allows for the ...

"The shooting star!"
What do you like best about iMovie? I like the simple user interface that is not daunting to a novice user. Also, I like that it has a multitude of templates that we can readily use to create our videos. The fact that it has a similar interface on the iPad app is icing on the cake! What do you dislike about iMovie? Perhaps the only issues that arise are the ones when we want to use the app for very high level professional VFX. Features like chroma keying, tracking, etc. are not present in ...

"Acceptable but limited in some ways"
What do you like best about iMovie? I like that my Macbook has iMovie automatically installed, and I like that it's free to use. If I need to splice clips together for a class quickly, it's good enough. What do you dislike about iMovie? There are many limitations in iMovie functionality. For instance, you can only apply one overlay to a video at a time, which can be frustrating for projects that might not even be all that complex. What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting ...

"iMovie - Video Editing is No Longer Daunting!"
What do you like best about iMovie? The most appealing quality of iMovie is its sheer simplicity. I like how even someone with no video knowledge can open iMovie and start working on a video project straight away. iMovie removes a lot of the guesswork from video editing by allowing users to drag & drop and move objects around quickly. iMovie's ability to swiftly create cinematic movie trailers—complete with music and text—is perhaps its best-kept secret. iMovie includes several fantastic ...

An easy way to edit videos
PROS: The software and the tools available are extremely easy to use. I never had any difficulty getting started with editing using this tool.I can edit the video and add effects with just a few clicks. No need to go through training nor watch tutorials. The effects are also great. I love the Ken Burns effect because it adds depth in the video and makes it more interesting. I also like the number of saving options. CONS: iMovie is good as it is. But if it is to be compared with other video ...

"An incredible experience for all video needs"
What do you like best about iMovie? I love the ease of importing my assets to edit. The use of transitions is simple and very clean-looking. The interface is easy to understand and being able to work on desktop AND mobile makes this a must have video editing app. What do you dislike about iMovie? The only drawback is that I wish there were more free music/soundtrack options. I don't mind paying for some music but the continual cost of buying music rights can be quite ...

"Great tool for beginners that want to create nice movies"
What do you like best about iMovie? it’s incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. Even if you don’t have prior experience using a video editor, I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it in no time. What do you dislike about iMovie? it would be nice if masking tools could be added to be able to create cool video transitions. Not necessary for most beginners though. What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting you? It’s been very useful when you need a tool to quickly combine videos. If ...

"Easy to Use!"
What do you like best about iMovie? I like that iMovie has transitions and themes ready to use. Being able to drag and drop photos or videos is so easy, as is trimming or splitting audio from video. What do you dislike about iMovie? Compared to other high-tech video editing software, iMovie is limited in function. But it's a necessary trade-off when considering ease of use and knowledge of product. Recommendations to others considering iMovie: Compared to products like Adobe Premiere, ...
