"iMovie: Free, easy, and basic video editor for creators"

What do you like best about iMovie? iMovie is a simple-to-use video editor with basic features for video editing. It is free software provided by Apple and is pre-installed in Macbooks. It provides all the necessary features that are required for a beginner-level content creator. The best part is, it supports 1080p resolution which is the new HD quality market standard. What do you dislike about iMovie? Although iMovie fits the basic requirements, I really wish there would have been more ...

"It's good for simple video editing like I do"

What do you like best about iMovie? - It's easy to use, beginner-friendly - Clean and simple dashboard - Has the basic features which I generally need - Fast output What do you dislike about iMovie? - For adding text in the video, it is very restrictive, you don't have enough control in your hand. - Minimal features, but most of my videos can be edited on it; only a few times I feel that I need another editing software. Recommendations to others considering iMovie: If you need to edit ...

"iMovie Review"

What do you like best about iMovie? I like the ability to quickly drag and drop images, videos, and sound bites into the movie project. I can easily download someone and drag it to exactly where I want it in my project. What do you dislike about iMovie? The one thing I dislike about iMovie is that you can only do one overlay on a video. I want to be able to throw a logo overlay plus additional b-roll. I have to do a workaround for this. What problems is iMovie solving and how is that ...

"iMovie is simple"

What do you like best about iMovie? I shoot some commercials at times, and I use iMovie to record the videos as I am shooting them. This makes it much easier to see that the aspect ratios and clarity of the video are what I need rather than trying to look through a small LCD screen on the camera. Also, the ability to edit on the fly immediately after the recording rather than dumping to a hard drive and editying later is a plus when I am trying to save time. What do you dislike about ...

"Excellent video editing tool-for free"

What do you like best about iMovie? It is free. It is easy to use but you need to watch some videos to get familiar with the tools. There are youtube videos for every tool, effect, and question that you come up with. Use it, it works. What do you dislike about iMovie? There are many features that you have to drill for. Youtube is your friend. Take some time at the beginning to understand the window layout of clips and ways to drag elements into the project. It can get confusing if you dont ...

"Resourceful and user-friendly"

What do you like best about iMovie? It surprisingly has many features that allow users with little or no knowledge to create professional, crisp-looking videos and slide shows. It also has ready-to-use features like the one to make trailers, which is particularly fun to use! What do you dislike about iMovie? The screen to preview your edits is sometimes tricky to use as feedback. I have found myself having to constantly go from full screen to the small screen to be able to really take a ...

"Video Editor for the Non-Technical"

What do you like best about iMovie? iMovie is a simple video editor giving the user all the essential tools required to allow even the non-technical vblogger to produce professional-looking content. What do you dislike about iMovie? As an entry-level application, some built-in features can be limiting as users grow, and their content becomes more complex. One area where this is evident is the ability to do color correction. Recommendations to others considering iMovie: iMovie is an ...
