"The most versatile cross-service integration platform I've ever used"

What do you like best about IFTTT? I enjoy being able to cross connect just about any service out there to create automation workflows across just about any service out there. What do you dislike about IFTTT? I wish there was a more developer-centric interface available for general advanced users to be able to create custom formulas and actions beyond what has already been provided. It doesn't happen often, but I sometimes find a service lacks an obvious function but there is no way to ...

I used them to auto-publish my posts on…

I used them to auto-publish my posts on my business pages on 5 social media platforms and got my all my 5 accounts disabled. When my posts were published they don't come out well on the platforms themselves either, avoid!

"Easy to use for everyday automations"

What do you like best about IFTTT? I like the ease of use, especially for automations that are already set up. What do you dislike about IFTTT? Sometimes the features can feel a little limited for more complex automations. Recommendations to others considering IFTTT: If you're looking for an easy-to-use solution for automations that aren't super custom this is a great tool. What problems is IFTTT solving and how is that benefiting you? I really like tracking my fitbit goals in a spreadsheet ...

Boosts the efficiency and smoothness of my work

PROS: This platform lets me connect to different products seamlessly. It allows me to select the best connection option on a given time too. This is how it helps me even if I usually use various recipes now and then. CONS: There are software applications that aren’t compatible with the platform. Sadly, I cannot use them even if I need to.

Awful subscription model...

I used to use this site a few years back after purchasing a few basic Wemo switches, but a recent visit showed that the site had switched to a rather aggressive commercial model that drives most of its user base to pay a monthly fee. Such a shame... I suspect that vendors will stop developing for this platform now as consumer interest wanes. A fixed nominal fee for each integration would have been much more palatable, especially for ad-hoc use.
