Experience is great and the application is improving rapidly.
What do you like best? In 11.1 the ease of use with report design. What do you dislike? It seems like more enhancements get rolled out before all bugs are fixed some times. Also, running Cognos on AIX was troublesome in early stages. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Making our data tell stories for our end users.

Cognos has been instrumental in its ability to meet reporting needs of our government customer.
What do you like best? Cognos has several installations within many of our government customers who use its scalabale delivery of business reporting capabilities., What do you dislike? There is nothing about Cognos that our customers who are using it disline. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Cognos offers a scalable offering that is both agile and effective.

Cognos 11 has shown us our future
What do you like best? As a long time cognos customer we were excited to learn about and build upon new data visualization options with cognos 11. Paired with our new Netizza data warehouse appliance we are able to allow our decision makers to work with data directly and find insights needed for improved decision making. What do you dislike? Positive with more Analytics needed.
What do you like best? I like that as an IT member, we can expose data using a Framework Model and Data Package then the business can drag-and-drop whatever they want to create their own Report and Dashboard.
