What do you like best? The facility to deploy an API, the interoperatibility with diferents technologies What do you dislike? Its kinda tricky to upgrade even to install. This processes were a big headache to us What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Exposes API's to external clients and costumers.

New in API Connect
What do you like best? IT gives us analytics, makes exposing APIs to clients much easier, it gives us a central point for consuming and managing APIs What do you dislike? The fact the whenever we have to upgrade datapower, we have to delete the gateway server from API connect then re add it again after the datapower upgrade. I wish this dependency will be removed in the future as it is a bit disruptive and doing firmware upgrades should be as simple and transparent as possible What ...

Api connect review
What do you like best? It is a great api management solution with rich set of management and self service features. With Datapower as runtime it fits well in on prem for exposing in house APIs to internal and external developers. We are moving towards v2018 on kubernetes platform and we hope it will add more values. What do you dislike? Great functionality but so-so customizability
What do you like best? We required the functionality of an API Manager and API Connect answered 95% of all our requirements What do you dislike? Extremely difficut to customize the UI that we had to work with an IBM partner to modify it to suit our requirements Recommendations to others considering the product Its functionality is ex ceptional, but check the price and the ease of customization.
