Are you using Homebase?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Homebase works best for small teams with straightforward scheduling needs. Before shortlisting, verify that the app's weekly availability settings match your staffing model—some managers report needing to set availability daily instead, which adds friction if your business operates on fixed weekly rotations. Test the navigation during your demo, particularly the ...Read more

What do you like best about Homebase? It’s easy to use and simple to update, and it offers a lot of functions that I rely on all the time. What do you dislike about Homebase? The mobile app doesn’t have the same functionality as the website. It would be awesome if I could update schedules by department in the mobile app as well!

What do you like best about Homebase? I like that Homebase is simple to use and it's affordable. What do you dislike about Homebase? Tracking different employees as they move from one business or service to another is problematic. Also, it could be improved since it seems to be based exclusively on location at this point. The reports could use some updating as they aren't incredibly flexible. Really need to invest in reporting if they want to keep business.

What do you like best about Homebase? I use Homebase to keep my summer employees organized and informed on what's going on at the club. Homebase saves me time and energy, and I honestly think that I couldn't do my job without it. The initial setup was easy, and it seamlessly integrates with my workflow. What do you dislike about Homebase? Well now that you ask... there used to be a place at the top of each day's schedule where I could put a special event for the day. That is missing from ...

What do you like best about Homebase? I find Homebase very user-friendly, making it easy to access and use as both an employee and now as a store owner. I've been using it for over ten years to run both of my stores successfully. It integrates very well with our Clover system and Toast, and I think the mobile app is the best way to use it. Setting up Homebase was very easy, and we've never had any issues with it. I would give it a 10 because it's very easy to use. What do you dislike about ...

What do you like best about Homebase? I find Homebase incredibly easy to use and not confusing at all. It's personalized to my business, and my coaches really enjoy using it, especially when they look at their clock-in streak and their percentage of being on time. I like the feedback I receive after they clock out. The templates for scheduling are super easy and streamline the process. Homebase simplifies scheduling by allowing me to see everyone's availability and move shifts around ...

What do you like best about Homebase? It is very user friendly and extremely easy to use. It makes suggestions while I am creating the schedule and that has saved me many hours. The app allows my staff to easily see their schedule and organize their time off requests. The payroll subscription is cheaper than having my CPA process payroll. It is easy to get support by calling their support phone number. What do you dislike about Homebase? Sometimes the support is slow or they do not have a ...

What do you like best about Homebase? Love the features for scheduling. Employees have connection via the app and have the opportunity to trade schedules, put in their days off. I love how Homebase payroll is connected making payroll a breeze. Homebase greatly improves my workflow because I spend less time with scheduling and payroll. Navigating is smooth. Performance is fast and reliable. Pricing is a little high so my ROI isn't as good as I want it to be. I haven not seen any AI ...

What do you like best about Homebase? I manage a volunteer pool of 50+ people and previously created schedules manually, on paper. I love how Homebase cut my scheduling time by half. For me, ease of use is the thing I like best about Homebase. What do you dislike about Homebase? Overall, the benefits outweigh any inconvenient aspects of the platform, but if I had to provide a dislike, I would say that I wish I had the ability to copy an entire month's schedule and paste it into a new ...
