For translators and subtitlists looking for a way to automate that first step of generating a decently synced srt file with natural breaks and real sentences (capitalization and punctuation), this is miles beyond YouTube and other services!

Snappy but not perfect

Snappy and aesthetically pleasing. It isn't perfect - my transcriptions often are littered with mistakes so I spend a lot of time correcting them. It'd be great if the rest of the transcription learned in real time from these corrections so I didn't have to do so much manually. Because of that I find it's expensive... This website of HappyScribe is one of the first transcription services that I've had a 90% overall satisfaction with. Some of the words were Greek instead of English and so the reader didn't do as well. But when it was an American speaking, the service could pick up the words even when it was slightly muffled or the person not speaking directly into the mic.
