Superb product
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? It's easy to enter payroll, and you get instant feedback once it's complete. As a small business owner, it's nice to know exactly what the cash needs will be for meeting payroll. The monthly cost is fair and well worth what you get in return. Customer service is awesome as well: friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. What aspects are problematic or could work better? I haven't had any problems in nearly 2 years of using Gusto. ...

Gusto is a great & reliable application - solving many payroll issues faced by SMBs
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Gusto is very user friendly- and "dummy proof"- they send out reminders to run payroll- provide easy to ready cash requirement summaries- great application What aspects are problematic or could work better? NO Customer Service
What do you like best? Everyone is friendly, but no one knows what they are doing. What do you dislike? customer service is the worst...i was passed on by 4 customer service reps and was in 5 queues waiting to be helped spanning over 3+hours...when there were only 2-3 people ahead of me in a queue...all of a sudden I was bumped to voice mail... this is crazy! Gusto is not the right company for my business. Recommendations to others considering the product Pick to work with a company ...

Gusto is one of the easiest & well presented payroll services out there! And I've tried them all.
What do you like best? Very simple & to the point. Not a lot of bells & whistles, which makes it easy to setup and get things moving quickly. The dashboard is very appeasing on the ascetics side as well. What do you dislike? You have to run your payroll 4 business days in advance. They are very limited on the reporting side. If you need basic reports, it works fine, but you can tell they haven't spent much time upgrading their reporting features. Recommendations to others ...

NOT compliance experts.
What do you like best? Simple interface. Document tracking (eliminates the need for something like BambooHQ. What do you dislike? Does not support Washington State LNI laws/parameters. Does not support multiple state OT laws (you would need an account for each state, but they only allow you to have 1 account per FEIN Does not have built-in time tracking (so you need to contract with another application to do so. This system is half-baked, at best. For example, an employee ...

Would Not Recommend
What do you like best? I moved to this company from ADP because they are about half the price for what I thought was the same service. What do you dislike? When onboarding, you are completely alone. It is you and their website. They tell you what info to input but it is very easy to make a mistake. I don't know if I made the mistake or if the website did but the NC Unemployment Tax was set to pay quarterly while it should have been set to monthly. About three months into switching ...
