Most practical app we have!

What do you like best? Ease of sharing knowledge and training materials. What do you dislike? Nothing! The only issues I've experienced with Guru are various bugs. Other than that, their product is a very advantageous tool to have. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It used to take our team lots of time to search through our knowledge base for answers to questions, which we need quickly and frequently. Guru has allowed us to quickly ...

The anti-Knowledge Silo

What do you like best? In our company lots of details and knowledge was held in the heads of various employees, which meant that we had to Slack them or ask them how to do lots of things. Now all our key processes and product quirks are held in one easily accessed, easily searched repository. It's simple to search, easy to make/edit cards. In particular, the cards are super easy to format. What do you dislike? I wish I could send a card I created to another user to verify. What ...

Fast/Clean documentation systems

What do you like best? The speed and methods in which cards can be accessed. The website is fast and the slack bot works well. What do you dislike? Lack of integration with our PSA and password system makes it less desirable. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Documentation for our customer base has always been an issue. Now we are seeing real gains/efficiencies with documentation. Creating a GURU card is fast and easy. We have over ...

A simple, fast and effective Knowledge Management Solution.

What do you like best? Guru is extremely easy to use and understand. It has a fantastic integration with slack and has been super easy to integrate into our existing systems. They also provide excellent support services to back up a solid technical solution. Compared to other similar solutions, Guru was hands down the best fit for our needs. Finding a knowledge management solution which is extremely user friendly but still ticks all the security, compliance and document management boxes ...

VERY Convenient to use, and as always, a great resource to have.

What do you like best? I really enjoy that I have quick access to the relevant information I need. It can take some time to strategize and decide what is important to have on the Guru Cards, but once in place, this tool is invaluable. What do you dislike? This has only happened once, where I could not use the product itself, it wouldn't open, Cant blame guru, this may have been a technical issue. Recommendations to others considering the product: Be patient and thoughtful for what ...

Awesome for SOPs and data base for our company!

What do you like best? Color and layout. Once you understand how it works it makes things very organized. Love that you have have it open on the side while on a tab, but also has a whole tab option as well. What do you dislike? Had to say as someone that uses it constantly. I imagine the managers who create the cards would have some complaints. But as a user I am very pleased. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try it!!! As a user very pleased which I believe is ...

Guru it then do it!

What do you like best? The dynamic nature of Guru allows even the most agile and iterative organizations to build processes that ensure accurate information is readily accessible to anyone who needs it. Guru's range of verification durations and ability to assign Cards to different groups enable teams to construct processes, policies and workflows to keep knowledge accurate and aligned with whatever your priorities are at the time. Collections, Board Groups, Boards and sections give every ...

Knowledge at your fingertips!

What do you like best? Guru is easy, intuitive, and powerful. I love that we can create thorough, organized, trusted information, and that it's easily accessible for our Sales and Support teams. We have a ton of product information that changes frequently, as well as internal workflows to keep track of, all while juggling communication with customers and prospects; being able to pull up a Chrome extension or web app to search for information that we know is accurate and thorough makes a ...

Great tool for an internal knowledge base

What do you like best? My Guru add-in for Chrome and magic feature which allows to find the answers depending on the context What do you dislike? As all SaaS tools you need to have a proper ownership and onboarding, in our company we had a Guru-specialist couple of years ago, right now everyone is updating his own cards and they are sometimes overdue Recommendations to others considering the product: Really great and powerful tool if you are looking for an Internal Wiki or ...

Perfect for your "one source of truth

What do you like best? The ability to set verification person/team & reminder cadence What do you dislike? The size of the cards (too much white space if using on a larger screen) Recommendations to others considering the product: I found it useful to map out the content structure first, import some content, then add all users before going back to finish out importing content What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The "trust" factor ...
