What is Great Expectations?
Great Expectations is an open source data quality framework that lets teams declare expectations about a dataset, test against them automatically and act when they fail. Its Data Docs render results as readable reports and visualisations rather than raw test output, and Actions can be attached to expectations to stop bad data progressing. GX Core integrates with Airflow, Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage and Jupyter. It is released under Apache 2.0 and is free to use, with a practitioner community of over 11,000.
