Inept customer service and buggy

Tried to sign up last year and they couldn't port my number over (which 8x8 did without issue). Tried again this year and their sign-up process is buggy - can't sign up from Android or web and customer service is PATHETIC. Long delays in responses, inept tech support - avoid.

Unscrupulous

After signing up for a free trial online, I was unable to port my number over. Yet Grasshopper unscrupulously kept charging me monthly as if they were providing a service! I didn't notice until six months later. They were only willing to refund the last two month. Disputing the charges with my credit card company as I add this deserved 1-star review to their long list.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company - the company does not disclose all fees, auto renews with no email or reminder, will not refund money for yearly subscription after 30 days of use. Deceptive and does not show renewal date in your account anywhere. P.S. in trying to obtain any money back, they said 12 months a go we said you can't cancel, so that applies to the renewal one year later that we provided no notice for and don't show in your account.

Grasshopper charged me several hundred…

Grasshopper charged me several hundred dollars more that they stated they would. When you call their number to cancel, they don't answer the telephone. They don't tell you this up front, but they say before they can cancel your account, you must transfer your 800 number to another carrier, which they say may take up to 6 weeks. Very dishonest company.

Very Easy To Sign Up - To Cancel Your Probably Wont Be Able To, They Hang Up On You!!!!

I found a better service than Grass Hopper and now i'm finding myself not being able to cancel the account, the robot on the chat will give you a phone number, but no one answers, and they know its you if you try the other lines of communication. They keep hanging up, and they keep pressing numbers as if they are doing it on purpose.
