What is GrandPerspective?
GrandPerspective is a free, open source macOS utility that shows disk usage as a treemap — rectangles sized by file size, colored by type — making a single oversized file or an unexpectedly large folder immediately visible. It can filter what it displays, save scan results for later comparison, and reveal files in Finder for deletion. It is the macOS counterpart to WinDirStat: minimal, free and focused entirely on showing where the space went.
