Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Google Slides works best for teams that need real-time collaboration on presentations without advanced design features. Before shortlisting, verify that your team can work within its animation and formatting constraints—transitions are limited compared to PowerPoint, and custom fonts require manual setup. Check whether your workflow depends on offline editing; ...Read more

"Easy, cross-platform presentation creator"

What do you like best? I love two things about slides the most; first being the simplicity of use. It doesn't have as many functions as powerpoint, but it has all the basics, and everything it does, it does well. The second thing, which is very important, is that it is cloud/browser driven, which allows for easier collaboration and viewing because going from Mac to PC doesn't mess up the format of the slides. I never have to email back and forth for comments and editing, or worry about ...

"Perfect for the pinches!"

What do you like best? The web interface is the best feature. Being able to edit and save my projects on the go without any extensive hardware is awesome. Also the web interface's ability to adapt to usage solely on small devices such as tablets and phones as well without the use of apps is amazing as well. It also has a comprehensive format that allows for learning and mastering its use in a short period of time. You can self teach/self-guide through it's easily readable interface.

"Way better than Power Point- this is amazing!"

What do you like best? The most helpful thing about Google Slides is that its' free! But more than that I love that it autosaves all of my work so I can never lose work again! Even if you want to go back to previous edits- they have an edits history and you can see the past work you did. My third favorite thing is that you can collaborate with others on a google slide and be on there at the exact same time working on a project!
