Google Sheets pros and cons
Google Sheets enables multiple users to edit and comment simultaneously, making it ideal for remote teams and cross-department projects.
With Gemini integration, users can generate formulas, detect patterns, and create visualizations quickly, reducing manual effort and errors.
It connects with tools like BigQuery, Looker, Salesforce, and Asana, allowing businesses to centralize and analyze data from multiple sources.
Accessible via web browsers, mobile apps, and offline mode, ensuring productivity from anywhere without interruptions.
Some advanced functions, such as complex macros or data modeling, remain more robust in Microsoft Excel.
Handling very large spreadsheets or millions of rows can lead to lagging and slower performance.

A versatile spreadsheet tool.
What do you like best? I like the multi-device support for this spreadsheet tool. I use this for workplace productivity, data management, even for grocery lists. What do you dislike? The mobile app is a bit wonky on my device (iOS). What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It's a great cloud-based alternative to Excel and is great for data management, lists, and spreadsheets.

Great Data Visualization, Not as Great Data Management
What do you like best? Google Sheets has some awesome, very easy to use Graphic/chart functionality. You can easily add separate axes, title separate axes, segregate actions by different data/axis selections to simplify data visualization in various different ways. I use Google Sheets in Spanish, and it recognizes formulas written in both Spanish and English which is a huge plus since I am more familiar with the English version. These charts continue to get more advanced to match the ...

Google Sheets
What do you like best? I like that it is an easy collaborative way to work on documents. I prefer it over by Sharepoint as a whole. It loads a lot faster than excel typically does for me. What do you dislike? Many of the shortcuts/formulas I'm used to on excel do not work quite the same on Google Sheets. There are also some differences in how it is organized compared to Excel. Most of it is pretty easy to find but it is an adjustment. What problems are you solving with the ...

Powerful and Versatile
What do you like best? Google sheets is obviously Microsoft Excel's younger brother, but that doesn't mean that it's any less powerful. Google Sheets has a ton of super powerful functions and features that Microsoft Excel has not (yet) implemented. One such example is the Filter function, which Microsoft has been trying to implement for a couple years now. Google Sheets also has the very powerful Query function that has it's own language and allows you to pull from database sheets. ...

If you are use to Microsoft Excel than Google sheets is a little harder to navigate.
What do you like best? I like using Google Sheets when I need to convert some of the data we use to a different format without having to go through each data point and making the adjustments one by one. This is still a very useful tool if you need to dump data into an excel format. I also really enjoy that you can share the document with other people in your organization and see who is viewing or editing it in real time. This makes it easier for us to know who is working on something and ...

One of my favorite ways to calculate client cost and create automated systems
What do you like best? Google Sheets may have a reputation for being nothing more than a cloud version of Excel, and in many ways this is true: Google sheets does perform many, if not all, the functions of Excel. However, I dare say that those who complain the two are too similar, have never used Google Sheets to its full function. Here is how I use it and my favorite part of being a Google Sheets user: 1. Google sheets can collect information from a form (such as Google Forms or ...

Live Reporting Tool during Covid period
What do you like best? The best part about Google Sheet is that it is LIVE! Anybody from anywhere can get to see the live data once you give them access. You can even give them an option to edit the data from their end. This helps everyone in your team to be on the same page. Second best feature which I like about Google sheet is that, you can decide the accessibility of the shared users. This means, you can decide whether or not they have an access to view, edit or do both. I'll ...

Google Sheets surpasses Excel
What do you like best? The best thing about Google Sheets is being to update items in real time and have multiple individuals working on a live document that is also protected to the level you wish it to be. Since this is powered by Excel, it has all the same functionalities but the interface design is a little simpler even. What do you dislike? So far, Google Sheets meets all my needs. However, the Google Sheets app for iOS is a little difficult to navigate. Additionally, when ...

I have nothing to say about disliking of Google sheet Recommendations to others considering the product: Google Sheets makes collaborative work easier, live reporting more possible and easy to integrate with many platforms. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I could limit the share by viewing only, downloadable or ...

Google Sheets Review
What do you like best? That it is cloud-based software (besides the fact that it is part of the Google platform) meaning auto-save type functions coupled with the usual high functionality of a spreadsheet software What do you dislike? I haven't found anything to dislike about this platform. Again, going back to the Google element, this is a great platform to use for many different types of software and functionality overall. What problems are you solving with the product? What ...
