Nice tool to use inside the google family. Fee for Gmail users.
Easy to use, and is inside the same framework of google. What I don't like is that two windows are not shown when you talk to a single person, the other thing I don't like is that there is no way to add backgrounds. If you are a G Suite user, it is a good tool at a cost-benefit level. It has the important thing, Voice, Video, Chat and you can record the sessions, there is no time limit. It is not necessary to go to dive another solution if what you are looking for is to collaborate in ...

Good for a quick meeting for small groups
What do you like best? My employer using the google based email service for the institution. This makes it very easy to find, add and call colleagues as the Hangouts meet option conveniently shows up in the sidebar and lets you know who is available. It works excellently for 1:1 meetings or in small groups What do you dislike? I organized some meetings for 10-15 participants using Hangouts meet and it got chaotic. Unfortunately I don't think this platform is ideal for large groups ...

Hangouts Meet - right up there with the best of them
What do you like best? Ease of use, pre-populated meeting invites with all the necessary dial in info; join via phone or computer, easy to mute, add/remove video, easy to find add-ons to change layout of tiles etc. What do you dislike? Audio quality is poor at times and it's not just when you have large audiences; it's "hit or miss" - not sure if it's based on amount of network traffic or if that's just "normal" for these types of services. What problems are you solving with ...

I like it, but I don't love it
What do you like best? I like how easy it is to send invitations and sync with your Google account. I also think the video quality is pretty good. What do you dislike? I dislike the connection quality. No matter what internet I am using, I seem to be dropped at some point in the call. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am meeting with colleagues across the country, hosting roundtables, and hosting 1:1 meetings as well.

Great for short meetings
Its part of Google, it can be installed as an extension of chrome on the computer. Long video meetings make your device hot I used it as an internal chat at the office. It's less confusing than using the regular chat apps. It allows me to keep my work contacts and conversations separated.

Base software is OK. Screen-sharing is a disaster.
What do you like best? Google Hangouts is easy to use, and very intuitive. I was hoping for the same from Meet. The video quality is good once you get the meeting started, but that's about the only plus I have found. I love that there's no time limit with the free product. What do you dislike? It's significantly more cumbersome than Zoom to initiate. Screen sharing doesn't seem to work at all. This makes it useless for the majority of my virtual meeting needs. What problems are ...
