Excellent way to communicate remotely!
It's free, and it is very easy to have this sync up with your Google calendar. I also love how easy it is to use with my Google Classroom and other G Suite products. Since it is all tied together, it made it easier for me to learn and to incorporate with the other products I already use for work. During the pandemic shutdown, I needed a way to communicate with colleagues and students and this was definitely my favorite product to use to do so. In order to get a grid view of everybody, you ...

Google: If you care about security
The simplicity and ease of the platform itself. No virtual backgrounds!! If this could be implemented, it would be a game-changer. Also, the connection is a bit unstable a lot of times. Day to day meetings and how simple it is to use especially if we are using Chat as the company's main form of comms.

Great alternative to paying for other services
What do you like best? Seamless use when you're using the G Suite of products. It's built in so it totally works What do you dislike? Sometimes the grid doesn't do what its supposed to do What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The biggest problem is getting our team together for our weekly meetings. Since we can use Meet we save time, are more productive

Google Hangouts Meet is great!
Good picture, good sound most of the time, sometimes when someone is on their cell phone, there is not as good of reception. Cell phone use lags, sound is not always clear. So easy, only takes a few minutes to get on. Can use the app on Smart Phone, however quality is better on a laptop or desktop. I have not tried on iPad or other tablet. During working at home our team meets one a week on Hangouts Meet, it keeps the president updated.

Seamless way to virtually connect!
I especially like being able to connect with one button. I like how that I am able to send invites to guests and meet with them virtually. I dislike how the viewing mode changes. I also dislike the video clarity at times. I am able to host meetings with my teammates to collaborate on different projects. I enjoy being able to also network with my colleagues in other departments.

Simplictiy meets effectiveness
Google Hangouts is incredibly simple. Get the link, join, and speak with quite a good connection, easy access to sharing screen and chat. Make a conference with just a click and getting a link that you can share. It is my first option when it comes to speaking with friends or family even outside a professional setting because of its ease of use. Its not as robust as some other tools for online conferencing, but when it comes to just having a simple conference its incredibly to setup. ...

Handy while working remote
Simple to create a meeting link and the ability to join over phone. Screen sharing is simple and the UI is easy to use. I like the indication of screen sharing which helps me quickly identify if I am still sharing by accident. The voice and video is good even during weak internet connection. The lack of gallery view with ability to see more people at the same time, seems like they are catching up with this. Quick to get to talk with remote co-workers and get the things done. Helps very ...
