Pretty basic video conferencing, it works but lacks professional controls.
What do you like best? It tends to be fairly reliable for video and audio quality. It is fast to start and it works conveniently in the chrome browser. It is free with Google Suite. What do you dislike? Lack of multi-screen support, lack of display controls, lack of default settings for video on or off. Presentations in Meet are difficult as the presenter as you cannot see the audience. While there are advantages to it being browser-based, many of the limitations are also a direct ...

Easy and reliable
What do you like best? I’ve used several conference & web meeting technologies over the years. Hangouts Meet seems to be the most reliable and keeps things simple compared to the others. What do you dislike? Customers with tough security measures or firewalls outside of your org may have issues joining. Recommendations to others considering the product: It’s one of the better ones out there especially if you’re using g-suite for business already. What problems are you ...

Hangouts Is Easy to work with
Not too hard to use. Easy application and not a lot of launch pages like other conference sites When your presenting everyone has to have their camera off and be muted or they become the presenter. I recommend google hangouts meet for ease of use. Less launch pages and good quality video and presentation. Easy to connect with people who have gmail accounts. Simple link to click.

Google Hangouts is a great way to get connected with your team.
I love that they recently added the grid feature that allows you to see multiple people's faces at the same time One that that I wish was better was when you dial out of Google Hangouts it shows the number as Unknown I definitely recommend using Google Hangouts. Its easy add on to a calendar invite or to sen over in a Gchat. Google Hangouts has made it easy for the team to hop on quick phones calls to discuss things quicke than other GChat

GOOGLE MEET REVIEW
It is very convenient and easy to connect. We use it daily for squad standup meetings and 1:1 meetings. The display of screen share is sometimes fuzzy or pixelated if movement of presenter is fast. Pretty much all squad group meetings, as well as standups we use it for. Makes collaboration easy and fast.

Google Meets expectations
What do you like best? Free and easy to use. Fortunately it works for small groups which has been helpful when other paid alternatives have been to pricey. What do you dislike? Sometimes the video and call quality can be subpar but most of the calls have been good. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Communications and collaborations on projects. The benefits have been ease of connection especially if you already run on the G suite.

In a short review I had some issues with staff being able to get in, otherwise everything was okay.
What do you like best? Once everyone was able to get in the platform, there were no technical difficulties What do you dislike? The length of time it took for people to be able to get in. I believe it was a technical difficulty. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am able to meet with staff in a virtual manner and send correspondence during this time of teleworking

Catching up, but not there
What do you like best? We get Google Meets for free with our G Suite subscription, so we gave it a try for 10 days when Google updated the product recently. Scheduling and joining calls is effortless, and the new features (grid view among them) are nice to have. What do you dislike? Those on the team who called in from a phone, and also some that are on a weaker, home internet connection complained vociferously about sound quality. So, after 10 days we moved back to Zoom and stayed ...

Easy to schedule and use
Ease of use - I like that I can schedule a meeting ahead of time from the Gooogle calendar or on the fly. I also like that it takes virtually no training to start using the tool. The quality of the video appears a bit grainy in comparison to other video conferencing tools. Really easy to use tool and to implement within your org. I can meet virtually with anyone, anywhere. As I work remotely, this is an important tool to have to meet with clients and co-workers.
