GoodData is a powerful tool, but it's not intuitive to use. Usability is a bit complex.
What do you like best? GoodData is a very powerful tool. Dashboards for each product, performance reports, everything from one place. Emailing is very helpful, you don't have to login every time. What do you dislike? It takes forever to generate the report. The data processing is super slow. This makes me crazy sometimes. I understand our company has a huge dataset, but the speed makes it almost unusable. Recommendations to others considering the product: Consider the speed of ...

An all round reliable reporting product
What do you like best? GoodData is a simple to use reporting tool which allows us to build accurate custom reports. Building custom metrics on top of the reports and dashboards in a timely and accurate manner is the main positive of the tool. The tool is also very reliable with minimal downtime. This is important when working for a fast paced business that places a huge amount of detail in reporting. What do you dislike? The least helpful part of the product is the fact we cannot see ...

Solid cloud-based reporting and data analytics
What do you like best? MAQL, GoodData's querying language, is robust and terrific for those already exposed to SQL syntax. What do you dislike? Initial ease-of-use for setting up pipelines using ETL processes can feel tedious. In part this is due to the deprecation of CloudConnect and so there's a mix of old and new resources in GoodData's documentation. Recommendations to others considering the product: With Zendesk rolling out it's move to BIME/Explore, don't forget the ...

Important Tool in Better Understanding Critical Business Metrics
What do you like best? GoodData has excellent integration with Zendesk (which is our primary use case). The integration is seamless and allows us to create custom reporting that brings attention to the areas of our business that we are needing to ensure are where we need them to be. They also have great support in my experience. Any time I have needed assistance in understanding or effectively presenting my data, they have been there to help. What do you dislike? It's not their fault, ...
