Great alternative to the industry leader
What do you like best? I have been using Gitlab for the first time in my current company and it is refreshingly similar, while also offering some benefits over competitors. What do you dislike? Some features are harder to find, for example, branch protection and managing who can push to the master branch vs just feature branches has been tricky. All the functionalities that includes for free (community edition) and you can contribute with code or apply your on changes since you can manage your own instance inside your infrastructure. Great product used by many in the software industry
What do you like best? This product has a wealth of features to help you manage your code repos and the users accessing those who typically need granular settings. We can easily set up new repos and have excellent visibility into all user actions. What do you dislike?
