What do you like best? In the company we work with Git and use Github for our repositories. The best thing about github is that we can keep our progress in the cloud and accessible to the entire team. In addition we can create different branches of work to join them once supervised. The best thing about Github is: - Unlimited repositories for free - Total support for the Git protocol - Online 24 hours a day - Very easy to use - The design of the web is simple and ...

The best shared resource platform for a Programmer
What do you like best? I love this platform, the truth is that I think it is unique, it is excellent to get answers to problems that we do not have or can not solve, it is the best shared code platform that exists in my opinion, besides that it has tools such as viewers and saves backup copies of every change we make in our codes which is excellent because at the time of making an error is very easy to return on our same steps, fascinates me, also is excellent to work as a team and the ...

A usable source code repository and Open Source community site.
What do you like best? The best thing about GitHub is certainly it's ease of use. The Web site is concise and to the point, all it's features are easy to use and are well organized as to be easy to find. You can also interact with it using any GUI for git or the good ol' command line tools should you prefer. It doesn't force a single way to use it's services on you. It's versioned Paste Bin-like tool Gist is also pretty great for storing and sharing single or multi-file code snippets ...

GitHub is an amazing version control system.... The best for working in team...
What do you like best? Git is the best version control system I have ever used. It helps a lot in project management. When working in teams the main issue faced is someone will overwrite a change done by you. But git gives the best solution to it. When you push your changes, git will tell which all files have changes and you just want to pull the changes. Also most of the conflicts are solved by merge and if any exists, git points out it and we can easily correct and push the changes. ...

I highly recommend GitHub for managing open source projects
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? If you are working on Open Source projects then you should try GitHub because it offers everything you need. I like that it’s powered by Git and you can switch to any other system if you want to all you have to do is to add a new remote and push. In addition, the service is free but if you want to use it as internal code then you have to pay for it. And last but not least, there are huge amount of integrations, you’ll get ...

The main standard for today's internet version control.
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? GitHub can easily pull in requests and is very easy to sue. It's a must-have for a distributed group. Internet-based diffs have been a big help. The platform is also intergrated in almost every major dev ops product. By using it, you have a drop-in integration for looking into CI and hosting tools in the market. What aspects are problematic or could work better? There's nothing to not like about GitHub. The only issue I encountered ...

GitHub is great tool even for those who do not have coding skills
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? One of the best things I like about GitHub is the open source platform. This tool is for almost everyone, it doesn’t require coding-skills at all, and all you have to do is to get into the GitHub repo and to participate in some other ways. As a writer you may contribute to Wiki or other documentation. I have made similar contributions in the past by making some simple changes to HTML file. What aspects are problematic or could work ...

A recommemded social network for coders.
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? You can take out a code from others in a single click. Then you can hack into it and make enhancements. Then you can have it sent back, discuss what needs to b done, or simply create a better version of it on your own. Its network tree is an awesome functionality. You get to see each fork version, observe changes made, and picking the main version for usage or a version to use against. What aspects are problematic or could work ...

Great for product owners and developers.
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I love all of GitHubs features. Not to mention their issue tracking and authorization functionality. They also offer free repo. We're able to create a static via gist and do web hosting through our own domain. GitHub is straightforward and simple to use. What aspects are problematic or could work better? GitHb is only restricted to having up to 5 private repos. I'm probably one of thew paid users who uses their repo while others ...
