FxSound pros and cons

  • Free equalizer and audio enhancer that noticeably improves sound quality on PCs, games, and movies.

  • Simple, easy-to-use controls with per-band frequency adjustment and presets.

  • Markedly improves output from weak laptop speakers and headphones, adding clarity and presence.

  • No ads, and works across multiple headsets and Bluetooth speakers.

  • Can interfere with the Windows audio setup, sometimes breaking other playback devices.

  • Uninstalling may not cleanly revert changes, leaving speakers or devices not working.

CAUTION, DO NOT USE!

CAUTION, DO NOT USE!I installed it and it was fine. When I uninstalled it, the main speakers stopped working. I reinstalled it and they started working again. Suddenly, they stopped working again. That was over a week ago, I've tried all kinds of options and it just doesn't work on my PC, even though the speakers work when connected to another PC or device.

Constantly messes with audio

The application messed with my audio constantly, causing it to cut off. It changed the headphones it equalized, also minimized my applications to change a preset by itself.

They're great for audio ...

FxSound kicks a$$

I just started using it and I'm absolutely amazed at the quality. For a free program you can't beat it. It's enhanced movies and games to the point where I have fallen back in love with my pc. I would recommend to at least give it a try if you feel your lacking in the sound department.
