Amazing and easy to use

Amazing and easy to use. Just love this app.

Saved me lots of time and prevented me from going insane!

PROS: Freshbooks did a tremendous job in convering my tedious monthly task into something that's swift and easy to do. I like how I get to have automated invoices, late payments, and reminders. Its automation was such a difference maker as I would lose track (every now and then) in sending invoices or getting them out in the later going. Its reminders prevented things from getting way too personal.

Easy billing software

PROS: I appreciate that FreshBooks is important for my business. I am not an accounting professional and I don’t particularly like bookkeeping. I was looking for a software that helps me do accounting easily. FreshBooks offers all that I need and more too.

Used to be great now sucks.

Used to be a great product and the web's absolute #1 support. Now the new freshbooks is a giant step backwards. Trully terrible. Ugly, wasteful interface, difficult to "scan" a column. Lack of default settings like late notices, no main email address for all invoices to come from, the paper invoicing has been farmed out to another company and any issues with that are not their problem anymore. I'm planning my departure from Freshbooks. Freshbooks forced us to upgrade to the 'new' Freshbooks from Freshbooks Classic earlier this year. After 15 years of using Freshbooks Classic, I was VERY pleased with how it worked. The 'new' Freshbooks is horrible. It's slow, it's buggy, it's laden with errors. The phone support used to be good - it's now somber individuals who have NO resolution for ANYTHING because it ALL stinks, and it breaks DAILY. Can't track time, can't load projects, breaks ...

No such thing as a free trial

Was trying for a free trial, now I have an unending stream of emails referring to my *account* into which I have never been able to login, let alone cancel. Decided on another accounting program which had different job tracking capabilities, so can't comment on quality of the program itself, but the customer service in trying to resolve this is dreadful.

Another classic user unhappy with the new version.I only use FB to write estimates and invoices, been doing it for years. I have multiple people for each of my clients that request estimates. It used to be a breeze to 1) select the company, and then 2) select my contact from checkboxes. Now that isn't even possible, they took that away.
